Insect trap
An insect trap may include a first housing; a reservoir at least partially defined by the first housing; a protrusion disposed within the reservoir and extending inward from an interior surface of the first housing, the protrusion configured to pierce a package disposed within the reservoir; an actuator connected to the protrusion such that when the actuator is moved, the protrusion moves with the actuator within the reservoir; a second housing moveably engaging the first housing; a trap chamber partially formed by the first and second housings; an inlet into the trap chamber; and wherein the second housing is movable between a first position where the inlet is open and a second position where the inlet is closed. The trap may include a package enclosing an attractant composition. The package has a release rate of the attractant composition from about 5 g per day to about 500 g per day.

German Cockroach Glue Trap
A German cockroach glue trap comprising a dark colored base and lid. The base having an overall height between 25 mm and 40 mm. Openings through the base have a diameter between 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm, large enough for German cockroaches to enter but not too large to let in too much light. The centers of the lowest openings having heights preferably between 6 mm and 10 mm above a floor preventing touching the glue before being caught and allowing escape. A ceiling at least 7 mm above the centers of the highest openings preventing climbing to the ceiling. The openings are in thin walls not providing a shelf for the German cockroaches to linger and detect a scent (oleic acid) of dead cockroaches which repels additional German cockroaches from entering the trap. A layer of glue resides on the floor and a second layer of glue may reside on the ceiling.

Arthropod trapping device
An arthropod trapping device comprising a housing and an insert. The housing comprises a base and a shade coupled to the base, where the base comprises a light source (e.g., LED) and where the shade is configured to receive an insert that comprises a light source-facing surface with an adhesive disposed thereon.
PEST CONTROL DEVICE MOUNTING SYSTEM
Method and apparatus for a pest control device mounting system configured for mounting pest control devices in a building and using them to control pests. The pest control device mounting system including a mounting bracket, which may have a circumferential portion defining a portal. In some examples, the mounting bracket includes a flange portion suitable for attaching to the perimeter of a cavity in a building surface. The pest control device mounting system including a plug configured to be removably attached to the mounting bracket and to substantially close the portal when attached to the mounting bracket, wherein the plug is configured to accommodate a pest control device.
Object image recognition and instant active response with enhanced application and utility
A device for detecting and marking ticks and tick bites on a body or limb. The device has an image capturing device that is in communication with image recognition software. Images of skin are analyzed to detect objects consistent with ticks or tick bites. Once such object is detected, the device automatically disperses a marking material in the proximity of the detected tick or tick bite.
Object image recognition and instant active response with enhanced application and utility
A device for detecting and addressing offending objects that are found in a fluid. The device has an image capturing device that receives images of a substrate such as a fluid. The captured images are analyzed by an image recognition system. If the image recognition system detects the presence of an offending objectthe device performs further steps to remove or neutralize the offending object.
