The sheave blocks of the three main hoisting systems are arranged side-by-side. The luffing system includes two luffing winches; and two luffing cables extending between the respective two luffing winches. The luffing cables are connected to respective outriggers of the hammerhead structure.
TELESCOPIC JIB BRACING DEVICE
A telescopic jib bracing unit for a mobile crane includes a holding frame which is embodied for fastening to the telescopic jib of the mobile crane and exhibits an open cross-section, the cross-sectional opening of which enables the jib to be retracted into the holding frame, and two bracing supports which are connected by the holding frame to form a structural unit. Two frame parts which form the open cross-section of the holding frame are coupled to each other via a coupling point such that they can be moved with respect to each other. A bracing unit transport system, a mobile crane and a fitting method are also provided.
CRANE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
The present application relates to the field of lifting equipment, in particular to a crane and a control method thereof. The crane includes: a body including a chassis and a turntable being rotatably arranged on the chassis; a super-lift device including a super-lift jib, a suspension pulling member and a balancing mechanism, the balancing mechanism including a super-lift counterweight and a pushing device, first ends of the super-lift jib and the pushing device being both connected to the turntable, the suspension pulling member being connected to a second end of the super-lift jib and the super-lift counterweight, a second end of the pushing device being connected to the super-lift counterweight to adjusting a distance between the super-lift counterweight and a slewing center of the turntable; and a hovering device configured to support the super-lift counterweight above a ground when the crane is under no load, a first end of the hovering device being connected to the turntable and a second end of the hovering device being not connected to the super-lift jib. Based on this, the function of slewing and traveling of the crane under no load while carrying the super-lift counterweight is achieved more conveniently.
Portable crane for maintaining a wind turbine generator
An apparatus for maintaining a wind turbine generator includes at least, but is not limited to, a wind turbine connected to a wind turbine generator, the wind turbine generator is supported by a generator platform, a gearbox disposed between the wind turbine and said wind turbine generator, and a break assembly disposed between the gearbox and the wind turbine generator. The generator platform provides at least one maintenance stud adjacent the wind turbine generator, which is used to secure a portable crane to the generator platform. The portable crane includes at least, but is not limited to, a support member secured to a mounting plate, the support member extends from the mounting plate in an upward direction and at an angle that is less than a ninety degree angle relative to said mounting plate.
CRANE, VESSEL COMPRISING SUCH A CRANE, AND A METHOD FOR UP-ENDING A LONGITUDINAL STRUCTURE
A crane includes a base structure; a slew bearing; a crane housing; a boom moveably mounted to the crane housing to be pivotable about a horizontal first pivot axis; three main hoisting systems; and a luffing system. The boom includes an A-frame with two boom legs that are connected at one end to the crane housing and at the opposite end to each other. Each main hoisting system includes a hoisting cable; a sheave block; a hoisting block; and a hoisting winch. The sheave block of each main hoisting system is pivotable about a horizontal second pivot axis that is perpendicular to the sheave rotation axis. The sheave blocks of the three main hoisting systems are arranged side-by-side. The luffing system includes two luffing winches; and two luffing cables extending between the respective two luffing winches. The luffing cables are connected to respective outriggers of the hammerhead structure.
LUFFING JIB CRANE WITH A DEVICE FOR LOCKING THE JIB IN A RAISED CONFIGURATION
A crane having a luffing jib and a lifting cylinder includes a cylinder body and a movable rod hinged on the jib to raise and lower the jib, and a locking device adapted to cooperate with the lifting cylinder to mechanically lock the rod in a deployed holding position and block the jib in a raised holding configuration, and further including a spacer hinged on the jib and supporting an abutment, the spacer configured for pivoting between a release position wherein the spacer is offset, authorizing the movable rod to be displaced freely, and a locking position wherein the spacer is folded so that the abutment is able to bear on the cylinder body to fixedly maintain the movable rod in the deployed holding position.
LUFFING JIB CRANE WITH A DEVICE FOR LOCKING THE JIB IN A RAISED CONFIGURATION
A crane includes a luffing jib and a lifting cylinder having a cylinder body and a movable rod hinged on the jib to displace the jib in lifting motion and in lowering motion, and a locking device adapted to cooperate with the lifting cylinder to mechanically lock the rod in a deployed holding position and block the jib in a raised holding configuration. The crane further includes a spacer hinged on the jib and supporting a stop, the spacer pivotable between a release position in which the spacer is shifted, allowing the movable rod to be freely displaced, and a locking position in which the spacer is folded so that the stop is capable of abutting on a bearing surface in a ball jointed connection with the cylinder body, to fixedly hold the movable rod in the deployed holding position.
