MATERIALS HANDLING VEHICLE AND GOODS STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM COMPRISING MOBILE STORAGE CARTS, TRANSPORTERS, AND MATERIALS HANDLING VEHICLES
Goods storage and retrieval systems and materials handling vehicles are provided. The goods storage and retrieval system includes a multilevel warehouse racking system; a materials handling vehicle comprising a mast assembly, a picking attachment, and vehicle-based cart engagement hardware; a mobile storage cart; and a transporter comprising transporter-based engagement hardware. The transporter-based engagement hardware enables the transporter to engage, transport, and disengage the mobile storage cart. The vehicle-based cart engagement hardware is coupled to the mast assembly to (i) engage and disengage the mobile storage cart and (ii) transport the mobile storage cart to multiple levels of the multilevel warehouse racking system. The mast assembly and the picking attachment are configured to access multiple levels of the multilevel warehouse racking system. The picking attachment is configured to transfer totes between the multilevel warehouse racking system and the mobile storage cart.
Side loading attachment for forklift trucks
In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, a side loading attachment (40) for use with a forklift truck (70) having a pair of forwardly extended forklift forks (70F). The attachment (40) comprises a pair of hollow sleeves (42) to receive the forklift forks (70F). A support frame (41) is welded to the hollow sleeves (42). A sliding bracket (43) is slidably mounted to the support frame (41). A rotatable shaft (45) is rotatably mounted to the sliding bracket (43). A tiltable frame (44) is pivotally mounted to the rotatable shaft (45). An elevating carriage (46) is slidably mounted to the tiltable frame (44). A pair of load forks (40F) are mounted to the elevating carriage (46) whereby the load forks (40F) can be rotated and shifted to either side of the forklift truck (70) and can be elevated and tilted to deposit or retrieve a palletized load (30) to either side of the forklift truck (70) in a narrow aisle operation.
TRANSPORT DEVICE AND ROBOT INCLUDING SAME
A transport device includes: a device frame; a first stage unit placed in the device frame to be movable in a vertical direction; a second stage unit placed in the first stage unit to be movable in a vertical direction; and a pusher unit placed in the first stage unit, and provided to discharge a transport object outward, wherein the transport object includes a first transport object and a second transport object stacked on the first transport object, and wherein while the pusher unit discharges the first transport object, the second stage unit supports the second transport object, and after the pusher unit discharges the first transport object, the second stage unit causes the second transport object to be mounted on the pusher unit.
Telescopic drive, stacker crane comprising same and operating method and use therefor
A telescopic drive contains a base having a securely attached toothed rack running in a first horizontal direction. At least one first carriage is arranged on the base, which is supported on the base such that it moves in the first horizontal direction by a linear guide, and which has a toothed belt drive formed by at least one electric motor and a revolving toothed belt. The toothed belt is driven by the electric motor, is tensioned in the first horizontal direction and is positioned on the toothed rack of the base. By integrating the telescopic drive into an electric-motor-driven cabin inside a three-dimensional shelving matrix of an equipment stand, both a compact construction and movements of a stored item are permitted, with the movements reaching up to or preferably also beyond the extension of an individual storage shelf.
STORING, RETRIEVING OR MOVING CONTAINERS IN A HIGH-BAY WAREHOUSE
Containers can be stored, retrieved, or moved in multilevel storage racks of a transfer facility by storage and retrieval units that can travel in aisles extending parallel to respective rows of compartments of storage units of the multilevel storage rack that, for longitudinal side storage of the containers, has a plurality of storage units of a depth corresponding to a container width that are consecutively arranged in rows longitudinally of the containers along one aisle side and are each separated transversely by one aisle. The storage and retrieval units can move back forth in the aisles and have raisable and lowerable telescopic grabs that can be extended and retracted transversely to the aisles for suspending a container. Corners supports in each of the compartments support the containers only at corners of the containers.
SHELVING SYSTEM HAVING A SHUTTLE VEHICLE
A shuttle vehicle is provided for transporting stored goods in a shelving system. The shuttle vehicle comprises a running gear having wheels mounted thereon to move the shuttle vehicle along guide rails of the shelving system. At least one telescopic guide rail is mounted on the running gear such that its direction of travel deviates from that of the guide rails of the shelving system by a predetermined angle greater than zero. The shuttle vehicle further comprises at least one telescopic system having telescope wheels mounted thereon to retract and extend the telescopic system in a plane along at least one telescopic guide rail relative to the running gear. A shelving system is provided which uses the shuttle vehicle.
