The invention relates to a method for storing and picking stackable article carriers (3) in an order fulfillment facility, in which transport loading aids (7; 107) are transported between a loading station with an automatically operated loading device (13), a storage zone (5) and a removal station with an automatically operated unloading device (32) by means of autonomously moveable, driverless transport vehicles (9). The transport loading aids (7; 107) are loaded with article carrier stacks (8) in the loading station and the article carrier stacks (8) are discharged from the transport loading aids (7; 107) in the unloading station. Subsequently, the article carriers (3) for a picking order are reloaded onto one or multiple target loading aids (34; 134). The invention further relates to an order fulfillment facility for storing and picking stackable article carriers (3).

A layer-picking load-clamping and lifting assembly for mounting on a lift truck is capable of bidirectionally side-shifting a load-clamping assembly substantially straightly along a side-shifting length. The load clamping assembly has opposed clamp arms each selectively movable along a direction parallel to the side-shifting length so as to be selectively separable in a plurality of different possible relationships.

Hydraulic valve circuitry adapted for hydraulic connection to a lift truck having a mast and at least one lift cylinder for alternately raising and lowering the mast. The present disclosure provides a material sorting system adapted to engage a material handling vehicle. The material sorting system can include a base including fork pockets adapted to receive a pair of forks from the material handling vehicle and a carousel assembly coupled to the base. The carousel assembly can include a plurality of storage units, and an actuation mechanism configured to move the plurality of storage units relative to the base. The base can also include at least one electrical contact within the base and in electrical communication with the carousel assembly.

A material handling vehicle may include a clamp assembly, the clamp assembly including a housing, a grip assembly, and a power source. The grip assembly may be pivotally engaged with the housing. The power source may be in electrical communication with the grip assembly. The grip assembly includes a lobe pivotally engaged with the housing and a contact supported by the lobe, the contact being electrically conductive.

A remote controlled luggage handler apparatus for loading and unloading luggage from tour buses includes a carrier body having a pair of drive tracks. A multi-axis arm has a base pivot unit coupled to a body top side, a proximal segment coupled to the base pivot unit, a distal segment, and a head pivot unit. A jaw comprises a jaw support coupled to the head pivot unit, a fixed mandible coupled to the jaw support, and a sliding mandible slidably coupled to the jaw support to secure a suitcase between the fixed mandible and the sliding mandible. A CPU, a first transceiver, and a battery are coupled within the carrier body. A remote control is in operational communication with the first transceiver to control the drive tracks and the arm. A charging port is configured to be installed within a storage bay of a tour bus to charge the battery.
