A method for filling and closing containers at a filling and closing unit of a handling station. After the completion of a filling phase, a handling phase is carried out at the filling and closing unit of the handling station, in which the process chamber is pre-loaded, in particular above the container opening of the corresponding container, by way of nitrogen to a pressure which is at or above the saturation pressure of the CO.sub.2 contained in the filling material.

A method for filling a container (2) with a filling product, comprising the steps of: positioning the container (2) in a filling station (1) so that its mouth (2b) is below the filling valve (9); separating a treatment volume (40) of the neck (2a) comprised between the filling valve (9) and at least one part of the neck (2a) of the container (2) from an external environment (6) containing the body (2d) of the container (2); dispensing plasma into the treatment volume (40) so that it flows over the neck (2a) of the container (2); enabling the filling valve (9) to dispense the filling product into the container (2).

A method for filling a container to be filled with a filling product includes accommodating a container to be filled in a treatment chamber, sealing a filling device to the container, rinsing the container with a rinsing gas introduced into the container through a rinsing gas channel, filling the container with the filling product, pre-pressurizing the treatment chamber with a pressurization gas through a pressurization gas channel, removing the filling device from the container, closing the container with a container closure, relieving the pre-pressurization pressure in the treatment chamber, and removing the container from the treatment chamber. The pre-pressurization pressure that is present in the treatment chamber is at least in part relieved into the rinsing gas channel.

The invention relates to a method for aseptic filling of a container with filling product, wherein the container is transported into an area of a sterile space assigned to the container, and then a mouth area of the container is then placed with a cap for filling in a mouth opening of the sterile space. The invention further relates to a sterile filling device for aseptic filling of a container, in particular for carrying out the stated method, with a sterile space which, in the bottom, comprises a mouth opening for a mouth area of a container and, in the lid, comprises a filling valve and a capper, wherein the filling valve or the capper can be brought into alignment with the mouth opening. Moreover, the invention relates to an aseptic machine with a carousel and, arranged on the latter, sterile filling devices which each have a sterile space, wherein an irradiating device is arranged in the periphery of the carousel for the purpose of irradiating at least the sterile filling device with electrons and/or X-rays prior to a filling operation.

A plant (1) for filling and closing cans (2) under hygienic conditions which comprises a hygienic compartment (3), a lid applying device (7) and an inlet (30) for a filling material. The lid applying device (7) is arranged in the hygienic compartment (3) and the inlet (30) is formed on the hygienic compartment (3). When used as intended, one or more cans (2) can be assigned to the hygienic compartment (3) and the hygienic compartment (3) can be moved together with the can(s) (2) in the system (1).

The present invention relates to a filler machine and method. The filler machine and method allow efficient and/or accurate filling of containers such as bottles, and have particular application to filling bottles or similar containers with carbonated beverages.

A device for aseptic filling of packages includes an aseptic chamber (1), a filling arm (3), a sealing head (7), a closure carrier (2), a package carrier (4), a package sterilization station (6), a sterile antechambers (8), power element cabinets (9), power elements housed therein, a closure cover (10), a filling arm shaft (35), a sealing head shaft (42), and a closure carrier shaft (43).
