Equipment and method for self-service mixing and dispensing carbonated fermented drinks from concentrates
An arrangement for brewing and dispensing fermented drinks, primarily beers, by portions using concentrates in a personalized, tailor-made manner that is fit for self-service. The arrangement is fitted with a primary alcohol unit and a secondary alcohol unit, which are suitable for adjusting the alcohol content for each portion and contain an alcohol and water mixture of a fermented liquid, and the controlling part is connected to at least one alcohol adjusting part that is suitable for setting the alcohol content of each portion of beverage. A fermented base concentrate and alcohol originating from the fermented beverage, left in and/or extracted from the base concentrate, is used as raw material, and the alcohol content of the beverage is adjusted by adding further alcohol, and the flavour of each portion of beverage is adjusted as desired.
Mixed beverage unit
The invention relates to a beverage unit for producing a beverage. The beverage unit comprises a first provisioning module for providing a first liquid and a second provisioning module for providing a second liquid that contains alcohol. The beverage unit further comprises a taste module for providing additives, wherein the taste module is configured to receive a first capsule, which contains the additives for a portion of a first beverage. Furthermore, the beverage unit comprises a control module configured to determine parameters for producing the first beverage, wherein the parameters indicate a first amount of the first liquid and a second amount of the second liquid. The control module is further configured to bring about that the first amount of the first liquid is provided by the first provisioning module, and to bring about that the second amount of the second liquid is provided by the second provisioning module. Furthermore, the control module is configured to bring about that the first amount of the first liquid and the second amount of the second liquid are mixed with the additives from the first capsule in order to produce the portion of the first beverage.
Nitrogen generator and uses thereof
A system and method to supply nitrogen gas is provided. Ambient air is compressed and stored in a storage receiver and then nitrogen is separated from the compressed air in a nitrogen membrane separation unit. The separated nitrogen is stored in a nitrogen storage tank under pressure and released through a pressure control valve. The system is confined to a small footprint and is useful as a nitrogen source where conventional compressed nitrogen tanks are a safety or space issue. Systems to prepare nitrogen infused beverages are also provided.
BEVERAGE PREPARATION MACHINES
A beverage preparation machine configured to dispense a beverage through an outlet nozzle assembly, the machine comprising: an outlet nozzle assembly having provided therethrough a first outlet and a second outlet; and one or more conduits arranged to deliver selectably fluid to the first outlet or the second outlet.
BEVERAGE PREPARATION SYSTEM
A beverage preparation machine permits automated preparation of a variety of beverages. A plurality of stations add ingredients to a beverage container and process the contents directly in the container in some embodiments. Parallel preparation of more than one beverage may be performed in some embodiments. A robotic arm moves the beverage container to the stations. The robotic arm may include a weight sensor as part of controlling the addition of ingredients.
