Hand-held beverage dispenser
A hand-held beverage dispenser includes a handle body, within which multiple valve units are contained. Two sets of fluid flow paths are provided into the handle body. The sets of fluid flow paths are mutually exclusive one to the other. Each flow path of the first set is in fluid communication with each valve unit, whereas only a predetermined one of the second set of fluid flow paths is in fluid communication with each valve unit. Each valve unit includes a flow control valve and a selector valve. The selector valve determines on an ad hoc basis which of the first set of flow paths will be utilized at any given time, while the flow control valve provides single action simultaneous ON-OFF control of fluid flows through both the selected flow path and the predetermined flow path. A failsafe ensures correct operation of the selector valve of each valve unit.
Mixer assembly removability arrangements for hand-held beverage dispensers
An arrangement for selective removal of a mixer assembly from a hand-held beverage dispenser includes a handle body housing a piping system for dispensing post-mix beverages and a toe plate for dependently supporting the mixer assembly. Upwardly projecting mounting bosses have central orifices running end-to-end therethrough, and extending at the bottom end through the toe plate. Each orifice is axially aligned with a mounting hole of a mixer assembly as operably supported by the tow plate, and releasable fasteners provided top-to-bottom through the orifices engage the mounting holes to affix the mixer assembly to the toe plate.
BAR GUN
An improved beverage dispensing apparatus, namely, a beverage dispensing device, comprising a monolithic handle having a plurality of fluid inlet ports and a plurality of fluid outlet ports; a plurality of valves situated within the handle, each valve movable in response to actuation; a plurality of internal fluid channels integrally formed within the monolithic handle, each internal fluid channel possessing smooth walls without irregularities; wherein a first internal fluid channel of the plurality of internal fluid channels fluidly couples a first fluid inlet port of the plurality of fluid inlet ports to a first valve of the plurality of valves; and wherein a second internal fluid channel of the plurality of internal fluid channels fluidly couples the first valve to a first fluid outlet port of the plurality of fluid outlet ports.
BEVERAGE DISPENSING SYSTEM
Embodiments provide a beverage dispensing mechanism that is configured to dispense a beverage at a flow rate of at least 2.5 oz/sec. The beverage dispensing mechanism includes a flow control module (including a top plate, a plurality of buttons coupled to the top plate, and a plurality of tube subassemblies), a handle, a nozzle module (including a nozzle, and a diffuser formed of a diffuser base and a water diffuser) and a split heel cover that fits over the tube subassemblies. In some embodiments, the flow control module may be snap-fitted on the handle. The modular design of the beverage dispenser allows for ease of repair and replacement of various components.
O-RING RETAINING APPARATUS FOR A BAR GUN
A system and method of using an O-ring retaining apparatus to maintain an O-ring in the same position relative to the position of the handle of a bar gun while permitting a valve stem in physical contact with the O-ring to slide past without the O-ring becoming dislodged.
