Translating treatment cartridge, fluid dispensing system, and method of using
A dispensing system having a treatment cartridge utilizing linear translation of the treatment cartridge within the manifold to actuate a valve to dispense a fluid. To dispense the fluid, a person pushes their glass or other container against a dispensing lever that translates the treatment cartridge within the manifold causing a cam surface on the filter's circumferential exterior to actuate a valve sending the fluid from the valve though the treatment cartridge and out a dispensing orifice in the treatment cartridge into the glass.
Method of regulating pressure in pressurized beverage dispenser
A beverage dispenser with a variable pressure regulator cap assembly that includes a high pressure cavity defined by a cap body. The high pressure cavity receives pressurized gas from a compressed gas reservoir. A low pressure cavity is connected to the high pressure cavity via a high pressure gas passageway. The low pressure cavity defines a low pressure gas passageway that penetrates the cap body. A piston seat is positioned on a high pressure cavity side of the high pressure gas passageway. A piston regulates introduction of the pressurized gas into the high pressure gas passageway. A diaphragm is positioned between an ambient pressure cavity and the low pressure cavity and translates the piston relative to the piston seat. A main spring is positioned between a diaphragm and a spring hat. Rotation of the drive screw translates the spring hat to affect compression of the main spring against the diaphragm.
BEVERAGE DISPENSER FOR POST MIX BEVERAGES
A beverage dispenser includes a dispenser housing having a first inlet, a piston being disposed in the dispenser housing, with the piston having a chamber extending through the piston, where the piston is movable in the dispenser housing between an open position and a closed position. The first inlet is in fluid communication with the chamber when in the open position. The first inlet is blocked from fluid communication with the chamber when in the closed position.
Beverage preservation and dispensing device
There is shown a dispensing apparatus for use with pressurized containers of fluids, particularly carbonated beverages such as beer. A base that fits onto the container has a piston member slidably fitted to it, along with a compressed gas housing and a pickup tube or assembly. A handle moves the piston member with respect to the base against a spring bias. A gas flow path from the housing to the container passes through a valve, that is opened by the piston member as the handle is moved. Moving the handle opens both a liquid flow path as well as a gas flow path.
Beverage dispensing assembly with flexible valve
Assembly comprising:a beverage dispensing line (20) defining at a dispensing end (46) thereof an inner circular flow area having a first diameter;an upstream valve part (26) connected to said dispensing end, the upstream part having an outwardly oriented snap lock member (44);a flexible downstream valve part (28) defining a beverage outlet at its downstream end, having an inwardly oriented snap lock member cooperating with the outwardly oriented snap lock member, the downstream valve part including a cylindrical plug (36) and defining a passage from the dispensing end past the plug to the beverage outlet, the plug defining a downstream section defining a second diameter larger than the first diameter, and defining an upstream section defining a third diameter equal to or smaller than the first diameter, connected to the downstream section, a tap handle (14) operating the downstream valve part between a dispensing position, an intermediate non-dispensing position and a final non-dispensing position.
Valve arrangement for selectively establishing beverage fluid flow
A valve arrangement establishes passage from a dedicated beverage product flow path to the valve arrangement to a dedicated beverage product flow path from the valve arrangement. The valve arrangement further establishes passage into the valve arrangement of a user selectable one of a plurality of diluent flow paths, while blocking passage into the valve arrangement of each of the plurality of diluent flow paths other than the one of the plurality of diluent flow paths. The valve arrangement still further establishes passage from the one of the plurality of diluent flow paths to the fixed diluent flow path from the valve body. The valve arrangement establishes passage into the valve arrangement of a user selectable one of the plurality of diluent flow paths functionally independent of establishing passage to the fixed diluent flow path of the one of the plurality of diluent flow paths.
Faucet with shearing valve element
A faucet for dispensing liquid with pulp or other suspended solids includes a valve chamber and a valve seat is located in the valve chamber. A valve element for controlling flow of liquid through the valve chamber from the inlet of the body to the outlet of the body includes a valve stem. The valve stem includes (i) a first portion that is closely slidably received in the outlet portion of the liquid flow passage adjacent the valve seat between the valve seat and the outlet; (ii) a second portion connected to the first portion and extending outwardly through the stem aperture of the bonnet such that an outer end of the second portion is located external to the valve chamber; and (iii) a seal located between the first portion and the second portion of the stem. The first portion of the stem cleans the valve seat when the stem moves from the second stem position to the first stem position.
FLUID LINE CONNECTOR ARRANGEMENTS FOR HAND-HELD BEVERAGE DISPENSERS AND RELATED METHODS FOR USE
A fluid line connector arrangement includes a first connector assembly of the fluid line connector arrangement, as particularly configured to efficiently connect and secure fluid line fittings to a hand-held beverage dispenser, and a second connector assembly of the fluid line connector arrangement, as particularly configured to efficiently connect and secure a fluid line fittings to a beverage fluid source.
POST-MIX BEVERAGE FLUIDS FLOW CONTROLLER AND ACCESSORIES THEREFOR
A flow control assembly, as particularly for use with a hand-held beverage dispenser of the bar gun class, provides ON-OFF flow control and regulated flow of beverage products and diluents to a hand-held beverage dispenser. The fluid flow controller includes a toolless (manually affixed) splash cover and an inlet connector retaining mechanism.
POST-MIX BEVERAGE DISPENSING TAP VALVE
A post-mix beverage dispensing tap valve to dispense a beverage into a vessel. A connection and mounting assembly is configured for mounting the post-mix beverage dispensing valve a wall and connecting with a source of a beverage product and a source of water. A drafting head is formed as an elongate cylindrical body with an internal bore. A piston shaft is operable by a tap actuator to selectively block and permit a flow of the beverage syrup and the water through the internal bores. The piston shaft carries a seal, a flow guide, and a spring. The seal abuts and seal with the facet to prevent flow through the internal bores. A slight gap between the flow guide and the inner surface of the bore obtains a desired mixture rate between the beverage syrup and the water source by regulating the area of flow around the flow guide.
