TAP FOR DISPENSING EITHER A FIRST OR A SECOND LIQUID
Tap (1) for dispensing a first liquid and/or a second liquid, the tap comprising:a first inlet (11a) and a second inlet (11):a first outlet (12a) and a second outlet (12b):a handle (10) adapted to rotate around a centre point (100) so as to be placed alternatively in:a first open position corresponding to a rotation of the handle (10) of a first angle (a1) with respect to a vertical reference axis (101) passing through said centre point, or in:a closed position corresponding to a rotation of the handle (10) of a second angle (a2) with respect to said reference axis (101), or in:a second open position corresponding to a rotation of the handle (10) of a third angle (a3) with respect to said reference axis (101), wherein said first liquid flows through the first inlet (11a) and the first outlet (12a) when the handle is at its first open position, through the second inlet (lib) and second outlet (12b) when the handle is at is second open position and wherein both first and second liquids are prevented from flowing when the handle is at its closed position, and wherein the tap comprises a distribution unit, said distribution unit being arranged so as to allow said handle to spontaneously reach said closed position in absence of external action.
Device for dispensing a beverage
A device for controlling the dispensing of a beverage is provided. The device is configured to control the dispensing of a bag-in-box beverage and includes a removable adaptor for attachment to a push button operated beverage dispensing valve. The removable adaptor includes a base with interior passageway, a plurality of clamp members to releasably secure the removable adaptor to the beverage dispensing valve, and a depression member with a depression extension for depressing the push button of the beverage dispensing valve.
Tap for dispensing a beverage
A tap for dispensing a beverage has a housing defining a channel for dispensing and a dispensing valve arranged in the housing. The valve is operable by a handle and connected via a tap drive shaft and a gear transmission to a valve drive shaft. The gear transmission has at least two cooperating gear wheels. The gear transmission could have a variable gear ratio. A method for manufacturing a tap for dispensing a beverage is disclosed.
Beverage dispensing system
A beer dispensing faucet is configured to be attached to a shank connector. The shank connector has a connecting member and an internal passageway having an outlet opening positioned within the connecting member. The dispensing faucet has a housing defining a central conduit having an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The housing defines a valve seat in the central conduit and further has an aperture in communication with the central conduit. The inlet opening is dimensioned to correspond in size to the outlet opening of the internal passageway and further configured to be positioned in confronting relation to the outlet opening of the internal passageway. The housing has a connecting member configured to cooperate and connect to the connecting member of the shank connector. A valve stem is positioned in the aperture. The valve stem has a first position wherein the valve stem is engaged with valve seat to define a closed faucet position. The valve stem has a second position away from the valve seat to define an open faucet position.
System for wirelessly charging an illuminated tap handle
A system for wirelessly charging an illuminated tap handle includes a tap handle and a wireless power unit. The tap handle includes a receiver coupling device, at least one light-emitting diode (LED) light, a transparent body, handle attachment, a handle chipset, and a personal-area network module. The handle attachment attaches the tap handle to existing beer tower opposite of the transparent body so that the existing beer tower can be operated through the tap handle. The transparent body is illuminated by the LED light that is communicably coupled to the handle chipset along with the personal-area network module. A transmitter coupling device of the wireless power unit communicably coupled with the receiver coupling device so that the handle chipset, the LED light, and the personal-area network module can be electrically powered as the transmitter coupling device is electrically connected to an external electrical outlet.
Method of regulating pressure in pressurized beverage dispenser
A beverage dispenser with a variable pressure regulator cap assembly that includes a high pressure cavity defined by a cap body. The high pressure cavity receives pressurized gas from a compressed gas reservoir. A low pressure cavity is connected to the high pressure cavity via a high pressure gas passageway. The low pressure cavity defines a low pressure gas passageway that penetrates the cap body. A piston seat is positioned on a high pressure cavity side of the high pressure gas passageway. A piston regulates introduction of the pressurized gas into the high pressure gas passageway. A diaphragm is positioned between an ambient pressure cavity and the low pressure cavity and translates the piston relative to the piston seat. A main spring is positioned between a diaphragm and a spring hat. Rotation of the drive screw translates the spring hat to affect compression of the main spring against the diaphragm.
Fluid pressurization and dispensing system
A fluid pressurization and dispensing system, including a coupler releasably attached to a vessel via an attachment means for securing a vacuum seal between the coupler and the vessel for maintaining pressure within the vessel, refreshing the gas composition within the vessel, and dispensing of a fluid contents externally from within the vessel without disturbing the vacuum seal. The coupler has a rigid single body unit having a tap head, a shank, and a cap which are contiguous thereof the coupler including a plurality of channels each integrally machined within an interior portion of the coupler. The system regulates a flow of gas from a pressurized gas cartridge via a gas pressure regulator, enables venting excess gas via a gas pressure relief valve, enables measurement of gas pressure within the vessel via a gas pressure gauge. Another embodiment of the system includes a coupler including a bi-level tap head.
KEG COVER
A keg cover removably joins to a top rim of a keg and covers the bung and the entirety of the top surface of the keg. When installed, the keg cover protects the top surface of the keg from contamination, and provides a stable stacking surface so that a second keg may be safely stacked on top of the keg to which the keg cover is joined. The keg cover further creates one or more storage spaces between the top surface of the keg and the keg cover to hold tap handles and other desired items.
