System to Sterilize a Physical Space
A system for sterilizing a physical space, such as a hotel room. The system generates and distributes heated air to the physical space to elevate the temperature of the space to a level sufficient to achieve a desired sterilization effect of eradicating insects and microoganisms. The system is portable and self-contained. The system includes a hydrogen fuel cell that generates electrical power. An electrical system conditions and stores the electrical power and supplies stored electrical power to the system components and peripherals. System components include a source of hydrogen, a heater, an air distributor, and a filter. Peripherals include a UV light source and an aerosol dispenser. The combination of heat, UV light and aerosol disinfectant effectively eradicates insects, microorganisms, allergens, and odors in the physical space.
Dry diffuser apparatus and method
A dry diffuser is disclosed which avoids safety and transport issues typical of liquid diffusers, candles and wax melts and provides systematic controlled diffusion of fragrance (or other active material) over relatively long periods with a programmable user interface.
PORTABLE INSECT CONTROL SYSTEM
A portable insect control trap has, in a single portable device, two modes of attracting insects, including a first mode adapted to attract flying insects (e.g. insect-attracting light) and a second mode adapted to attract crawling insects (e.g., bait). The same device has two modes of killing insects, including a first mode adapted to kill flying insects (e.g. an electrified grid) and a second mode adapted to kill crawling insects (e.g. an electric heating element). The first mode of attracting is associated with the first mode of killing, the second mode of attracting is associated with the second mode of killing.
Solid air freshener
The present invention relates to a solid pressed air freshener and odor neutralizer composition which can include greater than 10% fragrance. The air freshener comprises a fragrance; preferably the fragrance is impregnated within a water soluble substrate made from a foamed vegetable starch, a surfactant and a solidifier. The solid formulations break down easily in the presence of water and may be sprayed, within the area to be freshened.
Pellet Insertion Apparatus and Related Methods
Pellet insertion apparatus and methods. In accordance with an example, a method of inserting a pellet in a tree includes extending a taper (108) and an actuator rod (118) into the tree. The actuator rod (118) positioned within a through-bore (110) and extending from a taper distal end (112). The method includes securing the taper (108) in the extended position. The method includes retracting the actuator rod (118). The method includes loading a plug into the through-bore (110) of the taper (108). The method includes moving the actuator rod (118) to a plug insertion position.

Method and system for eliminating pests
An apparatus for disinfecting furniture, having a main member including an inner surface configured for receiving the furniture. The main member includes a plurality of apertures disposed along the inner surface. The apparatus has at least one temperature controller and at least one air source to the controller for heated blowing air. The apertures are in communication with at least the air source, and UV light from the light source and air from the air source can at least partially pass through the inner surface.
Method and apparatus for asphyxiating arthropods
The present invention is about turning the gaseous envelope that encoats, protects certain arthropods from their external environment against them. It teaches to apply radiation to the arthropods body in order to dysfunction the exacting geometry needed to maintain this protective envelope. This absorbed radiation thus makes the arthropod vulnerable to pesticides and other chemical agents. It also interferes with the arthropods ability to adequately breathe through their plastron covering by forcing it to increase its rate of metabolism via this absorbed radiation.

DEVICE FOR EVAPORATING VOLATILE SUBSTANCES
A device for evaporation of volatile substances, comprising a housing; a container removably mounted in the housing containing liquid volatile substances; a wick of a porous material, provided with a first end and a second end, wherein at least the first end is contained inside the container; a resistor element arranged to contact the second end of the wick; and connecting means for connecting the device to the mains supply to allow the heating of the resistor element; wherein the resistor element is a coiled wire that forms a compressing spring, and wherein the resistor element is compressed and in contact with the second end of the wick when the container is mounted in the housing.
