FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND FLUID DISPENSER
A fluid management system includes a fluid management controller and a fluid dispenser. The controller authorizes control of the one or more fluid management components over a wireless interface. A dispensing meter can be activated by an authentication device. The fluid meter includes a cartridge valve with a valve cartridge and a valve stem. The cartridge valve guides the valve stem and provides the only sealing surface for the dynamic seals and control seal disposed on the valve stem. The handheld meter dispenses through a nozzle, which includes an overmolded stem tip that generates a laminar fluid flow as the fluid exits the nozzle. The handheld fluid meter includes circuitry configured to invert the orientation of a visual output provided by a display of the handheld fluid meter to facilitate installation of the handheld fluid meter for use in an oil bar application.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE DISPENSING OF FUEL BY A DISTRIBUTION FACILITY
A system for controlling dispensing of fuel by a distribution facility, which comprises at least one dispensing unit, at least one mobile processing device, operated by a respective driver user, and a remote central processing device. The dispensing unit and the mobile device are mutually connectable via a short-range wireless communication network. The mobile device and the remote central device are mutually connectable via a telematic communication network; the mobile device comprises geolocation elements, configured to detect the geographical position where the mobile device is located, and an authorization verification module configured to enable the dispensing of fuel by the dispensing unit as a result of the connection between the mobile device and the dispensing unit, via respective short-range wireless communication modules, if the geographical position detected by the geolocation elements is located within a predetermined authorized geographical area.
SECURING PRODUCT STORAGE TANKS AGAINST UNAUTHORIZED DELIVERY
A system and method prevent product-type contamination in a bulk liquid storage tank. A control unit receives an indication of a storage product type in the bulk storage and a delivery product type in the tanker truck. The control unit compares the delivery product type with the storage product type and controls delivery based on a result of the comparison.
MOBILE DISTRIBUTION STATION WITH AISLE WALKWAY
A distribution station includes a mobile trailer, a pump, first and second manifolds fluidly connected with the pump, reels, hoses, valves, fluid level sensors, and a controller. Each hose is connected with a different one of the reels. A portion of the reels are connected to be fed from the first manifold and another portion of the reels are connected to be fed from the second manifold. Each valve is situated between one of the first or second manifolds and a respective different one of the reels. Each fluid level sensor is associated with a different one of the hoses. The controller is configured to individually open and close the valves responsive to the fluid level sensors.
FUEL TRANSFER AND MONITORING SYSTEM
The present invention relates to incorporating a RFID chip and at least one sensor which contains a universal safe fuel transfer code and enable pumping the fuel only using the RFID Chip and the at least one sensor, wherein the at least one sensor detects whether the dispensing unit is connected to the receiving unit and further authenticates the universal fuel transfer code to signal a safe and leakage-free fuel transfer path for the fuel.
LIQUID PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION FOR DISPENSING IN STORAGE TANKS
A system for confirming that a liquid product is to be dispensed into a storage tank from a tanker compartment before dispensing the liquid product is disclosed. A wand computing device generates a liquid product identification signal that identifies the liquid product contained in the storage tank when positioned within proximity of a storage tank tag associated with the storage tank. A dispense monitoring computing device attempts to match the liquid product identified by the liquid product identification signal to the liquid products identified as contained in tanker compartments. The dispense monitoring computing device generates a signal to notify the operator that an appropriate tanker compartment contains liquid product that is the same as the liquid product contained by the storage tank and can be dispensed into the storage tank when the liquid product contained by the storage tank matches the liquid product contained by the appropriate tanker compartment.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SECURE PROCESSING OF FUEL DELIVERY REQUESTS
A system includes a processor configured to wirelessly instruct fuel dispensation initiation over a direct wireless connection between a vehicle and a refueling truck, responsive to a wireless request made by the refueling truck, the request including a valid token and a refueling truck MAC ID with which the wireless connection is established.
