FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND FLUID DISPENSER
A fluid management system includes a fluid management controller and a fluid dispenser. The controller authorizes control of the one or more fluid management components over a wireless interface. A dispensing meter can be activated by an authentication device. The fluid meter includes a cartridge valve with a valve cartridge and a valve stem. The cartridge valve guides the valve stem and provides the only sealing surface for the dynamic seals and control seal disposed on the valve stem. The handheld meter dispenses through a nozzle, which includes an overmolded stem tip that generates a laminar fluid flow as the fluid exits the nozzle. The handheld fluid meter includes circuitry configured to invert the orientation of a visual output provided by a display of the handheld fluid meter to facilitate installation of the handheld fluid meter for use in an oil bar application.
Cross contamination control systems with fluid product ID sensors
A crossover protection system including a product transport vehicle having a tank compartment for containing a liquid product, a fluid property sensor positioned to contact liquid product stored in the tank compartment, a system controller, and a valve coupled to the tank compartment. The valve regulates a flow of liquid product from the tank compartment and has a normally locked state. The system controller may compare a received transported liquid type signal from the fuel property sensor indicative of the type of liquid product in the tank compartment and compare the type of liquid product to a stored liquid product type. If the two types match, the crossover protection controller transitions the valve to an unlocked state to allow the liquid product to unload from the tank compartment. If the two types do not match, the crossover protection controller will disable the valve from transitioning to the unlocked state.

A fluid dispenser includes a reservoir for storing a fluid, an outlet port connected with the reservoir by a dispense passage for dispensing fluid stored in the reservoir, an external supply port connected with the reservoir by a supply passage to supply fluid to the reservoir, a supply access valve defining a portion of the supply passage between the external supply port and the reservoir, and a controller in circuit communication with the supply access valve for controller operation of the supply access valve from a closed position to an open position in response to receipt of an authorized supply signal at the controller.

Hotel amenity fluid dispensing assemblies, systems, and methods for refilling empty reuseable jars from a source container positioned on separate scales within a housing. Each container/jar provides an RFID tag identity read by its respective scale RFID reader to provide selective operational parameters. Separate housing tower assemblies are fluidly connected to the central pumping assembly between the tower assemblies to draw product from the source container to the fill jar. Microprocessor-based control is electrically coupled to the pumping assembly, the scales, and RFID readers to turn fluid flow on and off. The control actuates the pumping assembly to dispense a precise amount of the fluid based upon the RFID identity and real time scale readings and activates tower assembly manifold movement to allow for replacement of empty source and full fill jars.
Method and apparatus for secure processing of fuel delivery requests
A system includes a processor configured to wirelessly instruct fuel dispensation initiation over a direct wireless connection between a vehicle and a refueling truck, responsive to a wireless request made by the refueling truck, the request including a valid token and a refueling truck MAC ID with which the wireless connection is established.

A refuelling system suitable for use with an overwing fuelled aircraft comprising: (b) a stored fuel grade identification means for identifying the fuel grade stored in the fuel storage vessel and available type(s) of delivery of the fuel to the aircraft; (d) an aircraft fuel grade identification means being attached to, or forming part of, an overwing fuelled aircraft, wherein said aircraft fuel grade identification means represents the fuel grade requirement of the aircraft and is readable from the exterior of the aircraft; (g) a transmission and receiving system which enables information regarding the fuel grade that had previously been supplied to the aircraft having the aircraft registration number inputted into the computer interface and the type of delivery of fuel which may be used by said aircraft to be retrieved from a remote database; (i) an automated cross-check system which is configured to retrieve the fuel grades identified by the fuel identification means in (b), retrieve the fuel grade identified in (d) from the hand-held device, retrieve the type(s) of delivery of fuel identified by the fuel identification means in (b) and by the system of element (g), and the previous fuel grade supplied to the aircraft identified by the system in element (g) which can generate a positive response signal if all of the fuel grades identified are compatible with each other and the type(s) of delivery of fuel to the aircraft are compatible
System and method for dispensing and sale of bulk products
A system for managing bulk product dispensing and sale in a retail establishment includes a bulk product dispenser for dispensing bulk product into a re-usable container which includes an ID tag identifying said container. A user interface receives a product fill request for a bulk product selected from a plurality of bulk products capable of being dispensed. Then a dispenser controller verifies the compatibility of said product fill request with said container by verifying the product requested satisfies restrictions based on information associated with the ID tag, and responsive to said verifying, either controlling said dispenser to fill said container with the requested product, or displaying a warning to a user if the request is not compatible.
Systems and methods for monitoring and controlling dispenser fluid refill
A counter mountable fluid dispenser includes a below deck assembly and an above deck assembly. The below deck assembly includes a reservoir for storing a fluid, a dispensing mechanism in fluid communication with the reservoir, and a controller in circuit communication with the dispensing mechanism for operation of the dispensing mechanism. The above deck assembly includes a spout defining an outlet port in fluid communication with the reservoir for dispensing fluid stored in the reservoir upon operation of the dispensing mechanism, an external supply port in fluid communication with the reservoir by a supply passage to supply fluid to the reservoir, an access door movable between a closed position blocking access to the external supply port and an open position permitting access to the external supply port, and a switch mechanism configured to disable the dispensing mechanism when the access door is in the open position.
