VALVE FOR A GRAVITY FED SILO TANK FUELING SYSTEM
A fleet refueling silo tank system gravity feeds fuel through hoses to fleet units without requiring pressurizing pumps. Specialized valves at the fleet unit fuel tanks prevent vapor escape and admit fuel at low, gravity fed pressures. The cylindrical silo tank includes an upper, gravity feed dispensing chamber and a lower reservoir chamber. A fuel pump doubles as means for moving fuel from the reservoir chamber to the dispensing chamber and for refilling the reservoir from fuel delivery trucks. Onboard telemetry transmits fuel consumption and flow rates wirelessly to a control center where operators monitor safety parameters in real time. Stored data may be analyzed to calculate fleet unit maintenance and service intervals. A tractor trailer hauls the silo tank horizontally on roads and highways and includes a gantry and hydraulic lifts to erect the silo tank into vertical operating position supported by a built-in platform.

Methods and systems for on demand fuel supply
An improved method of delivering fluid to a fluid consuming asset having a fluid tank. A tank filled with fluid is coupled to a manifold through a fluid delivery coupling having a first pressure relief valve set at a first predetermined pressure threshold disposed between the tank and the manifold. The fluid is directed back to the tank through a first re-circulation inlet when the first pressure relief valve opens. A second pressure relief valve is disposed between the manifold and the tank and directs fluid back to the tank when back-pressure in the manifold exceeds a second predetermined pressure threshold. The manifold is coupled to a fluid transporting mechanism which is fluidically coupled to the fluid tank. fluid flows out of the manifold into the fluid transporting mechanism, through a fill cap and into the fuel tank.
FULLY-INTEGRATED, TOP-FILL, PRESSURELESS FLOW-CONTROL MODULE COUPLABLE TO A PRESSURIZED FUEL LINE
A fully-integrated, flow-control module for top-fill fuel tanks is designed to operate with a fuel line attached that supplies fuel under constant pressure. A main flow control valve within the flow-control module closes automatically when the fuel tank is full, and automatically opens when the fuel level drops a certain amount below the full level. A spring-biased valve plunger of the main flow control valve has a bleed aperture that diverts a small amount of incoming fuel to a bleed path that is controlled by a fuel level float that operates on a lever arm that either opens or closes the bleed path. When closed, fuel pressure beneath the valve plunger increases sufficiently that the plunger biasing spring is able to exert a force sufficient to close the valve plunger. Bleed path control hysteresis prevents rapid cycling of the main flow control valve.

Methods and systems for on demand fuel supply
A method of delivering a fluid to a fluid consuming asset having a fluid tank is disclosed. A first tank is filled with the fluid and is fluidically coupled to a second tank which may be pressurized by a compressor. The second tank is fluidically coupled to a manifold which is in turn coupled to a fluid transporting mechanism. The fluid transporting mechanism is fluidically coupled to a hydraulic connector of a fill cap which is coupled to an opening of the fluid tank. The fluid is directed from the first tank to the second tank, the manifold, the fluid transporting mechanism, the hydraulic connector and into the fluid tank through an outlet of a probe of the fill cap.
Float valve systems and methods for controlling liquid level in vessels
A confined, fully or partially liquid-filled container having at least one flexible wall, utilizing the effect of gravity on liquid in the container to generate a force that acts on an actuator mechanism to operate a normally-closed control valve. In preferred embodiments, the container is a simple sealed bag partially liquid-filled and air-free. The flexible-walled container contains a predetermined quantity of liquid. The bag is confined by walls of a housing formed of a non-flexible material, and is affixed to the housing preferably to an upper wall of the housing in any conventional way. The housing is disposed in a vessel for holding a liquid and is having one or more apertures, which are in fluid communication with the interior of the vessel and through which liquid can enter from the vessel into the housing to a level corresponding to a desired level of liquid in the vessel.
