An aeration device has an entrainment chamber for mixing air and water in a body of water, wherein the air becomes partially dissolved into the water, thus creating water enriched with dissolved air, and excess air that did not dissolve into the water. An air input introduces air into the aeration device and a water input introduces water into the aeration device. Water enriched with dissolved air exits a water discharge of the aeration device at a first level within the body of water. An air exhaust manifold wherein the excess air can exit the water discharge while remaining inside the aeration device, an exhaust stack that permits the excess air to travel up from the air exhaust manifold, and an exhaust that permits the excess air to exit the aeration device at a second level within or above the body of water.

High-flow, high-pressure inline saturator system and method thereof

There is provided an inline saturator system and method for gas exchange with an aqueous-phase liquid. The system includes a pressure vessel, configured to receive a first liquid and a first gas from external sources and to discharge a second liquid and a second gas from the pressure vessel, and a gas infusion device situated within the pressure vessel. The gas infusion device is configured to receive the first liquid and first gas, to facilitate gas exchange therebetween, producing the second liquid and the second gas, and to discharge the second liquid and second gas into the pressure vessel. The system further includes a recirculation system configured to direct a portion of liquid within the pressure vessel back into the saturator device, where injection of the redirected liquid into the gas infusion device forces the first liquid into the gas infusion device for the gas exchange.

The present invention is a composting bioreactor system that continually receives biodegradable solid wastes, waste waters and exhaust gases, automatically recycles the biodegradable wastes into nutrients and heat energy, and automatically supplies the nutrients and heat into an integrated hydroponic or aquaponic system. This invention together with integrated food growing system may be installed onsite such as balconies, backyards and premises of restaurants and food factories etc. therefore may lead to zero mileage targets both for recycling wastes and for supplying foods. This invention integrates composting process and aquaponic technology together and may establish a closed-loop recirculation of both water and gases therefore upgrades aquaponics into compoponics. A compoponic system has both soil and soilless growing beds and mimics nature recirculating nutrients, carbon and energy among human being, animals, microorganisms and plants by way of photosynthesis, slow burning by cellular respiration and burning by combustion.

MIXING NOZZLE AND CONTAMINATED GAS PURIFICATION DEVICE USING MIXING NOZZLE

The mixing nozzle has a throat section, a diffuser section, a gas nozzle section, a first liquid suction port, a liquid nozzle section, a second liquid suction port, a baffle plate, and a jetting port. The first liquid suction port liquidly absorbs the solution in the water storage pool from a side of the gas nozzle section toward the gas nozzle tip. The liquid nozzle section extends to the downstream side of the gas nozzle section with intervening the first liquid suction port. The second liquid suction port liquidly absorbs the solution in the water storage pool from a side of the liquid nozzle section toward the liquid nozzle tip. The baffle plate is provided such that the mixed flow mixed in the diffuser section collides in front of a downstream end of the diffuser section, and divides and reverses the mixed flow.
