A first inlet port, a first outlet port, and a first drain port are coupled with the flexible bag so as to communicate with the first compartment. A second inlet port, a second outlet port, and a second drain port are coupled with the flexible bag so as to communicate with the second compartment.
Aerator device, filter system including an aerator device, and method of aerating a filter using an aerator device
An aerator device, a filter system including an aerator device, and a method of aerating a filter using an aerator device. An aerator device includes a housing having an interior cavity; a first plate in the interior cavity and defining a first cavity portion and a second cavity portion thereof, the first plate being spaced apart from a top wall of the housing to define a first opening through which the first cavity portion and the second cavity portion are in communication; and a second plate defining a first chamber and a second chamber of the second cavity portion, the first chamber and the second chamber being in communication with each other below a lower end of the second plate, the housing having an inlet opening in communication with the first cavity portion, and an outlet opening through the top wall and in communication with the second chamber.
GAS-LIQUID DISSOLVING APPARATUS
The disclosure provides a gas-liquid dissolving apparatus, comprising: a sealed tank, a gas jet tube and a plurality of membrane plates; the sealed tank being provided with a liquid supply joint at top, and a gas inlet joint and an output joint at bottom; the gas jet tube being located inside the sealed tank and connected to the gas inlet joint; the gas jet tube having a plurality of gas jet holes distributed on tube wall; the plurality of membrane plates being stacked around the periphery of the gas jet tube and fixed; each membrane plate being ring-shaped, and being structured with an inner ring wall, a mixing chamber and an outer ring wall sequentially from the center; the mixing chamber having an opening facing downward, and the inner ring wall being thicker than the outer ring wall, with a gap existing between the two adjacent stacked outer ring walls.
DIFFUSER FOR AERATION OF A FLUID
An elongate diffuser (10) comprises a diffuser body (30), and a membrane (20) attached so that introduction of gas at a working pressure into the diffuser displaces part of the membrane (20) from contact with the diffuser body (10) providing an elongate sealed compartment (50) between the membrane (20) and a surface (32) of the diffuser body (30). The gas can pass from the compartment (50) through the membrane (20) for aeration of fluid in which the diffuser (10) is immersed. The diffuser body surface (32) which bounds the compartment (50) is recessed away from the membrane (20) in use, to contribute to the lateral cross sectional area of the compartment (50) and facilitate distribution of gas along the diffuser by the compartment (50). An automatic purge valve for purging water from a gas feed pipe of a diffuser is also disclosed.
Diffuser assembly
A diffuser assembly includes a flexible diffuser membrane and a diffuser body. The flexible diffuser membrane defines a perimeter edge bead along four edges. The diffuser body defines an underlying body portion underlying the flexible diffuser membrane, and a perimeter edge frame covering a covered portion of the perimeter edge bead. The edge frame defines an inside surface that conforms to an outside shape of the covered portion of the perimeter edge bead. The perimeter edge frame is integral to the underlying body portion.
Aerating lance assembly and aeration tank incorporating same
The present invention relates to the field of fluid aeration and, in particular, fluid aeration in a tank of the type having a fluid aerator or aerators requiring removal for cleaning and/or maintenance. The aeration tank of the present invention may be a Moving Bed Bioreactor or Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) tank forming part of an MBBR wastewater treatment system, although the aeration tank of the present invention may also have utility in other applications. The invention further relates to an aerating lance assembly for use in an aeration tank.
Heat exchanger system with flexible bag
A bag assembly for use with a heat exchanger includes a flexible bag having of one or more sheets of polymeric material, the bag having a first end that bounds a first compartment and an opposing second end that bounds a second compartment, a support structure being disposed between the first compartment and the second compartment so that the first compartment is separated and isolated from the second compartment. A first inlet port, a first outlet port, and a first drain port are coupled with the flexible bag so as to communicate with the first compartment. A second inlet port, a second outlet port, and a second drain port are coupled with the flexible bag so as to communicate with the second compartment.
Fine bubble diffuser assembly
A diffuser assembly includes a flexible diffuser membrane and a diffuser body. The flexible diffuser membrane defines a circumferential bead. The diffuser body defines a circular plate underlying the flexible diffuser membrane, and an edge ring covering a covered portion of the circumferential bead. The edge ring defines an inside surface that conforms to an outside shape of the covered portion of the circumferential bead. The edge ring is integral to the diffuser body. Such a diffuser assembly may provide a disposable diffuser assembly option with many advantages over conventional technologies such as improved ease of installation, lower weight, and lower cost.
WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM WITH RETRIEVABLE MOUNTING FRAME ASSEMBLY FOR DIFFUSORS
A wall-mounted, retrievable diffusor system for aerating water in a tank includes a guide rail assembly mounted to a tank wall and extending from the tank floor to an upper edge of the wall; a retrievable mounting frame assembly releasably mounted on the guide rail assembly; and a plurality of aeration elements secured to the retrievable mounting frame assembly. The retrievable diffusor system is configured to be raised or lowered into or out of the tank either manually or via a motorized winch. In one aspect, the diffusor system includes guide rollers for guiding the mounting frame along a central guide rail. Swivel rollers engage the central guide rail and enable the mounting frame to be pivoted out of a position perpendicular to the tank wall and into a position over a platform of the tank for maintenance or replacement of the aeration elements when the frame is pulled from the tank.
