Flow control device
A flow control device comprising a body having an inlet in a first end thereof, an outlet in a second end thereof, and a passageway extending between the inlet and the outlet, the flow control device further comprising an injection assembly located at least partially within the passageway such that at least a portion of a fluid flowing through the device passes through the injection assembly, and wherein the flow control device further comprises a flow control portion adapted to control the proportion of the fluid that passes through the injection assembly in response to one or more parameters.
Injector device for an apparatus suitable for mixing chemically reactive components
An injector device for supplying a chemically reactive component to a mixing head includes a modular structure defined by a hollow housing and guiding body extending around a longitudinal symmetry axis and having one or more supply openings for supplying the chemically reactive component; in the hollow body a nozzle orifice is obtained arranged to face and communicate with a mixing chamber obtained in the mixing head; a pin-shaped partialization and control element, which is housed and slidably movablealong the longitudinal symmetry axisin the hollow body and configured to vary a narrowed active section of the nozzle orifice; on the partialization and control element a tip portion is obtained that is conformed to receive pressure from the respective polymer component delivered to said hollow body so as to move away said partialization and control element from said nozzle orifice to vary the area of said narrowed active section; a modular adjusting and contrasting unit, which is removably couplable with the hollow body and with the partialization and control element and configured to exert an axisymmetric thrust action on the partialization and control element to arrange the partialization and control element in an initial position and preload condition to adapt the narrowed active section to a reference flowrate and pressure of the polymer component and subsequently to vary the position of said partialization and control element to adjust the narrowed active section according to the flowrate variation, exerting the contrasting force that is suitable for balancing the pressure exerted by the polymer component; the modular adjusting and contrasting unit includes a series of interchangeable elastic elements of conical disc shape, configured to exert a non-linear elastic action that is such as to contain the retracting stroke of the partialization and control element, limiting as much as possible the pressure variation at the variation of the flowrate of the respective polymer component entering the hollow housing and guiding body; the modular adjusting and contrasting unit, the tip portion and the nozzle orifice cooperate mutually to confer to the injector device a geometric conformation with high section gain, corresponding to a high ratio between the variation of the area of narrowed active section and the longitudinal shift of the partialization and control element.
FLOW CONTROL DEVICE
A flow control device including a body having an inlet in a first end thereof, an outlet in a second end thereof, and a passageway extending between the inlet and the outlet, the flow control device further including an injection assembly located at least partially within the passageway such that at least a portion of a fluid flowing through the device passes through the injection assembly, and wherein the flow control device further comprises a flow control portion adapted to control the proportion of the fluid that passes through the injection assembly in response to one or more parameters.
Hydration pack infuser
The system may be a device that allows for mixture of an additive to a substance in a line of flow. The system may include a hydration pack with a reservoir that may contain a first substance, such as water. The system may include a cartridge with an additive that is mixed to the line of flow through a Venturi which may include a rolling seal that is manipulated with a dial a user manipulates to adjust the amount of additive added to the line of flow. The mixed liquid may then be accessed through a hose from the system to a mouth piece. The system may be modular to allow a user to replace the cartridge by disengaging a first component and a second component of the system through a buckling mechanism and replacing the cartridge within the second component. The cartridges may be reusable, recyclable or disposable.
Integrated throttle—fuel mixer
A fuel delivery arrangement for a generator can include a throttle-mixing assembly including a mixer body defining a main port extending between an air inlet end and a mixed air-fuel outlet end and defining a fuel inlet port extending into the main port, a Venturi structure located within the main port and being configured to mix fuel received from the fuel inlet port with air received from the air inlet end and to deliver an air-fuel mixture to the air-fuel outlet, a fuel control valve assembly, mounted to the mixer body, including a first valve and a first actuator arranged to control a flow of the fuel passing through the fuel inlet port, and a throttle control valve assembly, mounted to the mixer body, including a second valve and a second actuator arranged to control a flow of the air-fuel mixture passing through the main port.
AUTOMATIC TOILET CLEANING DEVICE
An automatic toilet cleaning device includes a container which contains a fluid cleaning agent and which is suspended in a tank of a toilet. A venturi valve is included which has a fluid input, a fluid output and a mixing input in fluid communication with each of the fluid input and the fluid output. The fluid input receives water from a fluid supply each time the toilet is flushed. The mixing input is in fluid communication with the container to mix the fluid cleaning agent with the water flowing through the venturi valve each time the toilet is flushed. The fluid output dispenses the mixture of the fluid cleaning agent and the water into a bowl of the toilet for cleaning the bowl of the toilet each time the toilet is flushed. The venturi valve includes a throttle for controlling a volume of the fluid cleaning agent.
