Incline Belt Conveyor with Longitudinal Belt Guards and Methods of Preventing Seed Entering Between the Belt and a Curvilinear Structure
An agricultural incline conveyor having belt guards extending longitudinally through a curvilinear portion from a tail inlet to a head outlet. The belt guards protect linear edges of a belt within the curvilinear portion during mixing operations. A plurality of mixing baffles positioned within the curvilinear portion induce turbulent backflow of a metered stream of seed being transported through the curvilinear portion. The longitudinal guards prevent the loss of transported seed from entering between the belt and a trough of the curvilinear portion.
Fluid treatment system and method
Fluid treatment systems and components are provided for a removal of solid matter from water or other fluids in which a chemical or chemicals may be introduced into the fluid under pressure to coagulate and/or conglomerate the solid materials and cause them to be dropped out of the treatment system and be removed. The fluid treatment system can include: an equalization chamber receiving a wastewater; a clarification chamber receiving a partially separated water from the equalization chamber; a mixing tube having an inlet end and an outlet end; and a sludge detector.
Target capturing apparatus and manufacturing method thereof, and target detecting method
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a target capturing apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof, and a target detecting method. The target capturing apparatus includes a cavity structure, the cavity structure includes: an inlet portion, an outlet portion and a capture region positioned between the inlet portion and the outlet portion, and the capture region includes a capture component, and a combination specifically combined with a to-be-captured target is included in the capture component so as to capture the target in a sample entering the cavity structure.
Metering arrangement in a capillary driven fluid system and method for the same
The disclosure relates to an arrangement (100) in a capillary driven fluid system for metering a predetermined volume of sample fluid. The arrangement comprises a sample reservoir (SR) arranged to receive a sample fluid, a first channel (C1) which is in fluid communication with the sample reservoir (SR) and which branches off into a second channel (C2) ending at a first valve (V1) and a third channel (C3) ending at a second valve (V2). The second channel (C2) and the third channel (C3) together have a predetermined volume, and the first channel (C1) is arranged to draw sample fluid from the sample reservoir (SR) by use of capillary forces to fill the second channel (C2) and the third channel (C3) with the predetermined volume of sample fluid. By selectively opening the first valve (V1) and the second valve (V2), a capillary driven flow may be formed, thereby causing the predetermined volume of sample fluid to flow out through the first valve (V1).
APPARATUS FOR DISPERSING CARBON NANOTUBES
A apparatus for dispersing carbon nanotubes according to the present invention includes: a solution receiving part including a solution receiving body portion, a flow pipe portion formed by passing through an inside of the solution receiving body portion, and through which a CNT solution flows, and a spiral guide portion formed on an inner wall of the flow pipe portion and configured to guide the CNT solution to spirally flow; and an ultrasonic vibrator part mounted on an outer wall of the solution receiving body portion, and configured to provide ultrasonic waves to the CNT solution, wherein the spiral guide portion has a right spiral type and a left spiral type alternately formed on the inner wall of the flow pipe portion so that a rotation direction is changed twice or more.
Limit size lipid nanoparticles and related methods
Limit size lipid nanoparticles, methods for using the lipid nanoparticles, and methods and systems for making limit size lipid nanoparticles.
Liquid dispenser with retractable spout
There is proposed a dispensing apparatus attachable to a container that includes a retractable spout. The dispensing apparatus can dispense a predetermined volume of liquid or aerate a liquid being dispensed, wherein the retractable spout includes a volumetric dispensing assembly for dispense the predetermined volume of liquid, and/or a turbulence forming element that is configured to aerate the liquid.
Mixing and drying conveyor
A conveyor having a conveyance structure, mixing components, belt, and gas manifold. The gas manifold disposed within or on an exterior portion of the structure. The gas manifold having one or more manifold outlet ports to dry, condition, or treat a metered stream of seed within the conveyor. The manifold may be operably connected to a recirculating air system providing the vacuum source and pressurized air source of atmospheric or conditioned air. A filter and vacuum port may extract debris or humidity from the metered stream of seed within the conveyor. A plurality of mixing baffles may be longitudinally spaced apart through the conveyor in a laterally alternating manner to mix the metered stream of seed. The conveyor may be used to transfer, mix, dry, condition and treat the metered stream of seed between multiple stages of treatment.
MIXING MODULE AND STEAM HEATER
A static mixing module for mixing of material includes an inlet end and an outlet end, between which a longitudinal axis extends. A plurality of angularly spaced mixing channels extendingbetween the inlet end and the outlet end, each two adjacent mixing channels being separated by an intermediate wall. At least one mixing element is provided within each mixing channel. Each intermediate wall has a uniform or an essentially uniform wall thickness (t) as measured in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. A steam heater is also disclosed which comprises said static mixing module.
Apparatus for facilitating reducant decomposition and mixing
According to one embodiment, an apparatus (50) for mounting to an inner wall (33) of an exhaust tube (32) includes a tube engagement surface (52) and an exhaust engagement surface (54A). The tube engagement surface comprises a convex surface of a constant first radius of curvature about a first axis. The exhaust engagement surface is adjacent the tube engagement surface, and includes a concave surface of a second radius of curvature about a second axis generally perpendicular to the first axis.
