Methods and Systems for Pharmaceutical Compounding
A computer-implemented method for execution by a processor of a computing device. The method comprises implementing a computerized graphical user interface (GUI) that provides a user of the computing device with an opportunity to identify a pharmaceutical compounding formula; consulting a database at least partly on a basis of the identified pharmaceutical compounding formula in order to determine mixing parameters for a planetary mixer, associated with the identified pharmaceutical compounding formula; and causing a mixer to subject a container to superimposed rotation and revolution movements in accordance with the mixing parameters determined from consulting the database.
A CONTINUOUS BLENDER
The present disclosure relates to a blender having blades whose orientation angle is changeable, even while the blender is in operation. The blender 100 includes a housing 110 with inlets (140a, 140b) to allow inflow of ingredients and an outlet (140c) to allow outflow of blended ingredients. The blender 100 incorporates an external shaft 122 with the blades 123 rotatably coupled to it, and an internal shaft 121 inside the external shaft 122. The blender 100 incorporates a first driving unit 130 to rotate the external shaft 122 and blades 123 about a direction along a length of the housing 110 to allow blending of the ingredients. The internal shaft 121 having engaging means coupled to back of the blades 123 such that a linear displacement of the internal shaft 121 using a second driving unit 121, enables change in orientation of the blades 123.
Quick-connect mixer impeller coupling
One embodiment provides a quick-connect and rotation system for impeller coupling including: an impeller comprising: a mixer end; and a first attachment end; the first attachment end comprising a first member that is diametrically magnetized; and an motor comprising: a rotational shaft with a second attachment end comprising a second member that is diametrically magnetized; wherein the first attachment end and the second attachment end are complementary to each other; and wherein the motor imparts rotational torque, via a magnetic field between the first member and the second member, on the first attachment end when the first attachment end and the second attachment end are connected.
PROCESS, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR CREATING EXTRUDED MATERIAL HAVING COLOR EFFECTS AND PRODUCTS MADE WITH EXTRUDED MATERIAL CREATED WITH SAME
A process and associated system for creating color effects using extrudable material, such as plastic and metal for example, are presented. Flows of first and second viscous materials of respective colors are provided and then combined in a predetermined pattern to form a stream of combined viscous material. A dynamic mixer is the then used to apply a predetermined dividing, overturning and combining motion to the stream of combined viscous material to partially mix the first viscous material and the second viscous material, such that upon exiting the dynamic mixer, the first material of the first color and the second material of the second color form a color pattern in the stream of combined viscous material. The dynamic mixer has elements configured for acquiring a specific radial orientation in a range of radial orientations that may be varied during the application of the dividing, overturning and combining motion to the stream of combined viscous material to cause variations in the color pattern in the stream of combined viscous material. Sheets of extruded material may be created using such process and system and used in the manufacturing of many different products including, but not limited to, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, garden furniture and many others. In some embodiments, the sheets may be characterized by color bands extending diagonally with reference to a longitudinal extent of the sheet.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A PROCESS TO PROVIDE IMPROVED PREPARATION OF CONSUMABLES
A system and method for a process to prepare consumable food and/or drink products by means of precise heating and stirring for a set period of time. The system utilizes a variable rotation rate magnetic stirring process, a variable temperature heating process, and a timing process in order to prepare consumables. The magnetic stirrer provides agitation to a fluid medium and facilitates homogenous distribution of heat produced by the heating element throughout the fluid. This even distribution of heat creates an improved consumable preparation. The system is suitable for home use.
METHOD AND CIRCUIT FOR SOFT STARTING A MIXER
A soft start circuit for a mixer is provided that includes an input for receiving an analog voltage representing a raw target speed; a current mirror for causing a speed target to change at a constant rate when the raw target speed represents a change from a current speed; and a comparator for receiving and comparing the raw target speed and an output from the current mirror and restricting the output from exceeding the raw target speed in order to restrict a soft start to only impede the speed target change when the raw target speed is increasing while not impeding the speed target change when the raw target speed is decreasing. The output of the soft start circuit is an analog representation of a soft start modified desired target speed.
