LOW TEMPERATURE CO OXIDATION CATALYST
The present disclosure is directed to a low temperature carbon monoxide (LT-CO) oxidation catalyst composition for abatement of exhaust gas emissions from a lean burn engine. The LT-CO oxidation catalyst composition includes an oxygen storage component (OSC), a first platinum group metal (PGM) component, and a promoter metal, wherein the OSC is impregnated with the first PGM component and the promoter metal and the LT-CO oxidation catalyst composition is effective for oxidizing carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) under cold start conditions. Further provided are catalytic articles including the LT-CO oxidation catalyst composition, which may optionally further include a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) composition (giving an LT-CO/DOC article). Further provided is an exhaust gas treatment system including such catalytic articles, and methods for reducing a HC or CO level in an exhaust gas stream using such catalytic articles.
Catalytic hydrocarbon dehydrogenation
A catalyst for dehydrogenation of hydrocarbons includes a support including zirconium oxide and alumina. A concentration of the zirconium oxide in the catalyst is in a range of from 1 weight percent (wt. %) to 20 wt. %. The catalyst includes from 0.01 wt. % to 2 wt. % of an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal. The catalyst includes from 1 wt. % to 2 wt. % of tin. The catalyst includes from 0.1 wt. % to 2 wt. % of a platinum group metal. The alkali metal or alkaline earth metal, tin, and platinum group metal are disposed on the support.

The present disclosure further provides crystalline preparations of purified FDCA, as well as processes for making the same. In addition, the present disclosure provides mixtures used in processes for the purification of FDCA.
CATALYST FOR A DEHYDROGENATION REACTION, A MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND A HYDROGEN PRODUCTION METHOD USING SAME
A catalyst for a dehydrogenation reaction includes a carrier including Al.sub.2O.sub.3 having a theta (θ) phase, an active metal supported on the carrier and including a noble metal, and an auxiliary metal supported on the carrier and different from the active metal.
OXIDATION CATALYSTS FOR DESTRUCTING VOCS WHICH CONTAIN LIGHT ALKANE COMPOUNDS IN EMISSIONS
Disclosed herein are monolith oxidation catalysts for the destruction of CO and volatile organic compounds (VOC) chemical emissions, in particular, the destruction of light alkane organic compounds. The catalysts contain high surface area refractory oxides of silica- and hafnia-doped zirconia and silica, or tin oxide or stabilized alumina; and at least one platinum group metals, in particular platinum metal, or a combination of platinum and palladium
Hydrocarbon conversion catalyst
The present invention relates to a hydrocarbon conversion catalyst, comprising: a first composition comprising a dehydrogenation active metal on a solid support, and a second composition comprising a transition metal and a doping agent, wherein the doping agent is selected from zinc, gallium, indium, lanthanum, and mixtures thereof, on an inorganic support.
Catalyst for Producing C8 Aromatic Hydrocarbon Having Reduced Ethylbenzene Content and Preparation Method Therefor
Disclosed are a catalyst and a preparation method therefor, the catalyst being able to maintain a high production yield of C8 aromatic hydrocarbons in the process of converting a feedstock containing alkyl aromatics to C8 aromatic hydrocarbons such as mixed xylene through disproportionation/transalkylation/dealkylation while reducing a content of ethylbenzene in the products.
METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF 1,4-CYCLOHEXANEDIMETHANOL
The present disclosure relates to a method for preparation of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol. According to the present disclosure, two step reduction reactions are conducted using terephthalic acid as starting material, and an isomerization process for increasing the rate of trans isomers of CHDA is introduced therebetween, thereby providing a method capable of stably preparing CHDM with high rate of trans isomers.
Processes for upgrading alkanes and alkyl aromatic hydrocarbons
Processes for upgrading a hydrocarbon. The process can include contacting a hydrocarbon-containing feed with fluidized catalyst particles that can include a Group 8-10 element or a compound thereof disposed on a support to effect one or more of dehydrogenation, dehydroaromatization, and dehydrocyclization of at least a portion of the hydrocarbon-containing feed to produce a coked catalyst and an effluent. The process can also include contacting at least a portion of the coked catalyst particles with an oxidant to effect combustion of at least a portion of the coke to produce regenerated catalyst particles. The process can also include contacting an additional quantity of the hydrocarbon-containing feed with at least a portion of the regenerated catalyst particles to produce additional effluent and re-coked catalyst particles.
