A machine for making plant material smoking articles is provided having a feeding assembly that is configured to feed plant material to a combustible material rolling assembly. The combustible material rolling assembly includes a continuous stream of paper and a forming chute having a semispherical channel at a length and at least one adjustable guide. The combustible material rolling assembly is configured to roll the plant material in the continuous stream of paper at a wrapping rate within the semispherical channel to make at least one plant material smoking article. In some embodiments, the feeding assembly is either driven via gravity or a pneumatic delivery system. In one embodiment, at least one adjustable guide includes a tapered conical guide configured to additionally adjust the wrapping rate.

The present invention relates to a cut-stem separating and baffling apparatus and a primary air separation apparatus. The cut-stem separating and baffling apparatus includes a cut-stem separating baffle and struts; and the strut includes a base, a hanging panel, and an inner hexagon adjustment bolt, where the base includes a connecting segment and a support segment that are connected to each other, where the connecting segment is located above the cut-stem separating baffle, and the support segment is located behind the cut-stem separating baffle; the hanging panel includes a transverse hanging panel, and a longitudinal hanging panel, and a connecting hanging panel is disposed in a direction of the longitudinal hanging panel toward the cut-stem separating baffle, where the connecting hanging panel is connected to the cut-stem separating baffle; and the connecting segment of the base is connected to the transverse hanging panel using the inner hexagon adjustment bolt.

The present disclosure provides an aroma-producing body to be heated and an aromatic cartridge equipped therewith, as well as a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for the heated aromatic producing body. The aroma-producing body to be heated includes an aroma-producing substrate to be heated and a packaging material winding up the aroma-producing substrate to be heated. The aroma-producing body to be heated has a gas flow path of voids formed by the aggregation of heated aromatic producing substrates into primary aggregates, and a gas flow path of voids formed by the aggregation of the aroma-producing substrate to be heated and the primary aggregate thereof into a secondary aggregate, and a gas flow path of voids formed by the heated aromatic producing substrate and its primary aggregate in contact with the packaging material. These gas paths have a deformed gas flow path that penetrates the aroma-producing body to be heated.

A machine assembly for forming a smoking product comprises a base plate and includes a die block assembly having a plurality of cavities and a needle punch. A bottom punch assembly including a plurality of punches is positioned below the die block assembly. A top punch assembly having a plurality of punches is positioned above the die block assembly. A hopper carrying a material to form smoking products is positioned over the plurality of cavities and fills the cavities. The plurality of punches of the top punch assembly and the bottom punch assembly compress the material in the plurality of cavities of the die block. During this compression, the needle punch extends through one end of each of the plurality of cavities to form an opening in the compressed material therein. After compression is released, each compressed material provides a smoking product.

The present disclosure provides an aroma-producing body to be heated and an aromatic cartridge equipped therewith, as well as a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for the heated aromatic producing body. The aroma-producing body to be heated includes a noodle-shaped bodies aroma-producing substrate to be heated and a packaging material winding up the aroma-producing substrate to be heated. The aroma-producing body to be heated has a deformed gas flow path formed by the aggregation of the aroma-producing substrate to be heated. A deformed gas flow path between aroma-producing substrates which is generated between the aggregates and the other aggregates due to a shift of a long-axis direction between the aroma-producing substrates adjacent each other in any aggregates of the plurality of aggregates; or a misdirected aroma-producing substrates between aggregates which is generated between the aggregates and the other aggregates due to a misdirection of the long-axis direction.

A machine for preparing a smokeable product, the machine comprising a housing, a capsule receiving compartment within the housing, the capsule receiving compartment configured to receive a capsule used to prepare the smokeable product, a rolling medium holder movably coupled to the housing, the rolling medium holder configured to receive at least one rolling medium and move between an open position and a closed position, and a tamper coupled to the housing and configured to facilitate movement of smokeable material from the capsule into a rolling medium.

A machine for wrapping smokable material in a wrapper includes a garniture defining a straight path along a longitudinal axis on which a wrapper is guided. A garniture belt transports the wrapper along the straight path. A feeding device for feeding a smokable material to the garniture includes a first conveyor having an upper section on which the smokable material is supported, the first conveyor being actuatable to move the smokable material in a feed direction toward a downstream side of the first conveyor. A holding container has a bottom defined at least partially by the first conveyor. A feed transports the smokable material from a supply container to the holding container so that that an amount of smokable material in the holding container is maintained within a range including a predetermined minimum amount and a predetermined maximum amount. A metering device meters the amount of smokable material that is moved by the first conveyor from the holding container toward the garniture.

A plant material loader has a hopper, a hopper tray, a transfer tamper assembly, a transfer tray, a product retainer tray, product tubes and a loader tamper assembly. The hopper is configured to receive plant material. The hopper tray receives the plant material from the hopper. The hopper tray has hopper tray openings. The hopper tray has a hopper tray motion from a hopper position where the hopper tray is below the hopper to a transfer position where the hopper tray is away from the hopper and at a transfer tamper assembly. The transfer tamper assembly has transfer tamper rods and a transfer tray. The transfer tamper rods push the plant material from the hopper tray to the transfer tray.

A cigarette filling machine includes several novel features, including a first mechanism for delivering empty casings to a tobacco outlet, a second mechanism that drives tobacco cutting, spoon insertion, and a casing clamp using a single motor, a novel sprocket array for processing tobacco, and related components. The machine can be used to perform new methods for filling empty cigarette casings with tobacco.

Cigarette makers and suction rod conveyors for cigarette makers are provided, as well as methods of using the same. A compacting disk of the suction rod conveyor can be configured to assist in providing drive from a suction tape during operation, minimize filler material buildup, and eject dust during use. Suction and trimmer channels and slide bushes can be configured to minimize bridging of filler material. Scrapers with serrated edges, brushes, and/or pressurized air can be provided to minimize buildup of sticky filler material during use.
