Pest control device mounting system
Method and apparatus for a pest control device mounting system configured for mounting pest control devices in a building and using them to control pests. The pest control device mounting system including a mounting bracket, which may have a circumferential portion defining a portal. In some examples, the mounting bracket includes a flange portion suitable for attaching to the perimeter of a cavity in a building surface. The pest control device mounting system including a plug configured to be removably attached to the mounting bracket and to substantially close the portal when attached to the mounting bracket, wherein the plug is configured to accommodate a pest control device.
Method for the removal and control of arthropod infestation in interior dwellings
There is provided a method for the removal and control of arthropod infestation comprising the cleaning of surfaces and objects within an interior dwelling space using a high efficiency water extraction device, utilizing water that is heated to a temperature sufficient to kill the pest, and to which is added a cleaning agent comprising a surfactant that imparts a surface tension of between about 15 and about 30 dynes/cm, (a super wetting agent); in combination with application of an effective arthropod control composition to surfaces and objects within the interior dwelling spaces, the arthropod control composition comprising an arthropod control agent and a surfactant that imparts a surface tension of below about 30 dynes/cm.
VENTILATION STRUCTURE
A ventilation structure is set on a parting portion between an outer wall member and an eave member, and extends in a longitudinal direction along the parting portion. The ventilation structure includes an outer wall base member, the outer wall member provided on the outer wall base member through a furring strip, the eave member provided upward beyond the outer wall member and an upper end of the furring strip, and a ventilation member set in a space between the outer wall base member, the furring strip, the outer wall member and the eave member for ventilating an aeration layer between the outer wall base member and the outer wall member and an exterior. The ventilation member is constituted of a frame member and an aeration member set on the frame member. The frame member includes a first vertical portion, a top surface portion, a second vertical portion and a bottom surface portion. The aeration member includes a plurality of vent holes passing through the same from an outer surface to an inner surface.
Termite shield
A termite shield for protecting wooden frame structures comprising a cellulous sheet impregnated with a non repellant insecticide. The shield is placed between the sill/mudplate and the foundation and extends upward between the siding and interior space.

Apparatus and method for applying a soil treatment beneath the surface of the ground
In a method and apparatus (710) for treating soil at a work site, a high pressure application tool (712) is connected to a base unit (714) and moved relative thereto along a first area of the work site adjacent a structure (94) and operated to inject soil treatment down into the soil along the first area of the work site. A low pressure application tool (711) is interchanged with the high pressure application tool (712) and moved relative to the base unit along a second area of the work site adjacent the structure (94) and different from the first area of the work site. The low pressure application tool (711) is operated to apply soil treatment to the soil along the second area of the work site.
Portable heating system and method for pest control
A method for killing pests in an affected area of a structure, comprises positioning a heat pump unit within an affected area of the structure, coupling a first end of an inlet hose to a faucet, and coupling a second end of the inlet hose to an inlet port of the heat pump unit. The inlet port supplies a flow of water received from the faucet to an evaporator component of the heat pump unit. The evaporator component transfers heat from the flow of water to a refrigerant and communicate the refrigerant to a condenser component of the heat pump unit. The condenser component generates heated air by transferring heat from the refrigerant fluid to air flowing through the condenser component. The heated air i emitted into the affected area in order to raise the temperature of the affected area to a target temperature greater than 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Termiticide flex plug system and method
The present application includes a system configured to simplify the application of plugs into holes created in concrete slabs during a termiticide treatment process. The system includes a flexible plug for insertion into the hole one or more times. A plug tip is coupled to a tool and selectively adjusted to a particular depth. A locating element is included to prevent the over protruding of the plug tip in the hole. The tool is used by the user to insert the plug tip into the hole wherein the depth is governed by the location of the locating element. The plug tips may be interchanged or adjusted in depth along with the locating element. Once the plug has been located properly, a patch is then applied to the remaining hole.
