Smoking article and method
A method of constructing a cigar includes the providing of a plurality of frusto-conically shaped tubes, each tube being of a smokable material such as a spirally wrapped layer of tobacco material. The tubes are nested, one tube inside the other tube. The nested tubes are then attached to a mouthpiece having a socket that is internally threaded. The nested tubes and mouthpiece are packaged either filled with tobacco filler material, partially filled, or unfilled in a container.
Hydrophobic smoking article tube
A smoking article tube includes an elongated tube having a mouthpiece segment at a first end and an empty smokable material cavity defined by a second end of the elongated tube opposing the first end. A hydrophobic tube region includes hydrophobic groups covalently bonded to the elongated tube.
Storage Containers, Products, and Methods of Packing a Smokable Product
Storage containers, products, and methods of packing a smoking product are described. An example storage container has a main body that has a first end, a second end, a lengthwise axis, a width, and defines a chamber and an indicium. The lengthwise axis has a midpoint. Each of the first end and second end is moveable from a sealed configuration to an unsealed configuration. The width of the main body tapers from the second end toward the first end. The indicium is defined at a location between the midpoint of the lengthwise axis and the first end and extends along a portion of the width of the main body. The main body has a first width at the location between the midpoint of the lengthwise axis and the first end and a second width at the second end. The first width is less than the second width.
Packaged interleaved curved edge cigarette rolling papers
A pop-up dispenser is provided containing a stack of curved edge cigarette rolling papers. The papers are folded and interleaved within a box having a slot for dispensing one curved edge cigarette rolling paper at a time. A cover hinged to one edge of the box overlies the slot in the closed position. One paper is dispensed with its straight edge exiting the box first followed by a subsequent paper dispensed with its curved edge exiting the box first.
Method and apparatus for a smoking shell with a reinforcing tip having a visible V-shaped blocking element
A smoking product and method of making thereof for the consumption of a smokable substance. The product has a hollow conical shape that allows for the easy insertion of smokable substances. Additionally, the conical or frustoconical shape of the product provides for larger amounts of smokable substances in the end of the product the consumer lights, resulting in an initial slower prolonged burn. Additionally, the product includes a supporting filter tip with v-shaped visual indicator contained therein and is packaged for sale in packaging in an unfilled state allowing a user to remove the product from the packaging, fill it with the user's selected custom smokable filler and form a custom smoking product.
SYSTEM FOR ROLLING AND FILLING CIGARETTES WITH SMOKABLE MATERIAL
Apparatus and method for forming a tube of planar material suitable for use as a casing for a cigarette. In some embodiments, a cone is disposed within an interior chamber of a housing, the cone having an annular base and a tapered portion extending from the annular base. The tapered portion has a frusto-conically shaped outer surface. A body portion is attachable to the annular base of the cone to induce rotation of the cone with respect to the housing. Rotation of the cone enables wrapping of a planar material, such as a rolling paper or a blunt sheet, about the cone to form a hollow tube having a frusto-conical shape. In further embodiments, a grinder assembly presses organic smokable material through a screen to direct the material through the body portion and into the tube. Filter media can be incorporated into the tube as desired.
Method and apparatus for custom rolling a smokable product
A product and method of making thereof for the consumption of smokable substances such as tobacco or herbs. The product is comprised of smokable materials such as tobacco, homogenized tobacco, natural leaf materials, vegetable materials, herbal materials, paper, cellulose, and other smokable materials and has a connected form mandrel which is used during the rolling process and disconnected after substantial completion of the rolling process.
Cylindrical Smoking Device
In some embodiments, a cylindrical smoking device made from a rectilinear sheet of flexible paper-like material. The sheet is die cut to form a taller portion and a shorter portion. The shorter portion is folded into an accordion shaped member. The longer portion is rolled around the accordion shaped member form in a cylindrical shape where the accordion shaped member is captured within the cylindrical shape. The cylindrical shape is retained by gluing the trailing edge of the taller portion to a location at the mid portion of the taller portion. The recess formed between the top of the cylindrical shape and the top of the accordion portion is capable of retaining a small amount of smoking material.
PACKAGE FOR ROLLING PAPERS, FILTERS, SCOOPER SLEEVE AND PACKING STICK USED IN SMOKING ARTICLES
A package for containing rolling papers used in smoking articles to be dispensed therefrom, the package comprising a plurality of rolling papers, the rolling papers including a crease to capture a smoking product on the rolling papers and the rolling papers being rolled into a cylindrical shape to capture the smoking product within the rolling papers to create the smoking articles, a base, thr base including a container, the container sized for holding the rolling papers and the container including a slot to dispense the rolling papers, the rolling papers used to fabricate hand rolled cigarettes, a first tab, the first tab extending outward the said base at a wide side of the base, a cover, the cover extending outward from the first tab, a second tab, the second tab extending outward from the cover at a wide side of the cover a scooper sleeve, the scooper sleeve extending outward from the second tab, a spine, the spine extending outward and generally perpendicular from the cover, a plurality of filter tips, the filter tips secured to the cover at the spine and the filter tips extending outward from the spine, a packing stick, a sleeve, the sleeve formed at an intersection of the first tab and the cover; the sleeve sized to secure the packing stick to the package and wherein the scooper sleeve may be folded at the second tab onto the filter tabs and the base may be folded at the first tab onto the scooper sleeve to enable the package to be stored compactly.
Cocoa Wrapper For Smoking Articles
A wrapping material for a smoking article is formed from a web that includes extracted pieces of cocoa husk combined with web building fibers. The web has a basis weight of from about 20 gsm to about 80 gsm and a permeability of from about 10 Coresta to about 100 Coresta. The wrapping material has a pleasant and neutral smell and taste. The wrapping material is tobacco and nicotine free and can be used as a carrier for flavorings or aerosol delivery agents.
