If the blocking member is in its non-blocking position, the abutment is located outside the trajectory. A first elastic member is connected to the trigger and to the coupling member, The trigger has a pusher dog configured to move and/or release a movement of the blocking member into a non-blocking position.

TRIGGER SPRAYER WITH AN IMPROVED TRIGGER AND PISTON ASSEMBLY

A trigger sprayer assembly for dispensing a fluid is provided. The assembly includes an engine having a piston chamber and an outlet passage that is fluidly coupled to the piston chamber, a piston having a plunger and an intermediate portion that extends from the plunger and terminates in an end portion, a trigger lever having a main body and a piston coupling body, and a pair of trigger springs coupled to the main body. Each trigger spring includes a first curved portion, a second curved portion, and a terminating portion. The terminating portions are configured to fit within recesses formed in the engine, and the piston coupling body engages with the end portion. Pivoting the trigger lever from a neutral position to an actuated position compresses the trigger springs and pushes the plunger into the piston chamber to drive fluid into the outlet passage.

TRIGGER SPRAYER ASSEMBLY WITH DUAL VALVE SYSTEM

A trigger sprayer assembly is provided. The assembly includes an engine having a piston chamber and a fluid passage that extends from an inlet portion to an outlet portion, a piston having a plunger that is disposed within the piston chamber, and a trigger lever that is configured to pivot between a neutral position and an actuated position. The assembly further includes an input valve and an output valve configured to control unidirectional fluid flow through the inlet and outlet portions of the fluid passage. The input valve includes a cylindrical body terminating in a flap portion. Pivotal movement of the trigger lever from the actuated position to the neutral position pulls the plunger out of the piston chamber such that the flap portion of the input valve pivots from a closed position to an opened position and fluid flows through the input valve and into the piston chamber.

ALL PLASTIC CONTINUOUS SPRAY TRIGGER SPRAYER

A manually operated trigger sprayer that stores a quantity of pressurized liquid during the charge stroke of the trigger for subsequent release during the return stroke, is presented. The trigger sprayer is configured such that an appreciable volume of liquid is dispensed during both the charge and the return strokes of the trigger, creating a continuous discharge stream, for so long as the trigger is actuated. The present invention trigger sprayer also provides an all plastic construction by replacing tile metal coil spring of prior art trigger sprayers with a U-shaped plastic spring located exterior to the pump housing thereby making the trigger sprayer well-suited for recycling.

Incapacitating Chemical Agent Dispersal Using a Portable Electronic Device
20230152063 · 2023-05-18 · ·

A portable electronic device that selectively deploys a liquid incapacitating chemical agent is described. During operation, the portable electronic device receives or provides a trigger signal. For example, the portable electronic device may include a trigger (such as a mechanical or an electronic trigger), and the portable electronic device may provide the trigger signal when the trigger is activated. Alternatively or additionally, the portable electronic device may provide the trigger signal when an individual is detected in proximity or may receive the trigger signal via wireless communication. In response to the trigger signal, a control circuit provides a control signal to a pump. Then, based at least in part on the control signal, the pump transfers the liquid incapacitating chemical agent from a reservoir to a nozzle. Next, the nozzle discharges the liquid incapacitating chemical agent, e.g., in a stream, where the stream is external to the portable electronic device.

A handheld comminutor—spray bottle assembly includes a bottle; a comminutor; and a sprayer assembly. The bottle has an externally threaded mouth. The comminutor includes a comminutor body, with an internally threaded rim, housing a power source and an electrically connected motor. Blades connected to the motor by a shaft extend from the comminutor body. The sprayer assembly includes a spray head attached to a spray bottle cap, a siphon straw and an elongated filter housing connected with a spray head inlet, with a filter on the housing. A filter housing cap secures the filter to the housing. The spray bottle cap has an internally threaded rim and a seal ring. The comminutor rim and the spray bottle cap rim alternately connect with the mouth of the bottle. The motor rotates the shaft and the blades. Biomatter and liquid comminuted in the bottle are dispensed using the spray head.
