Actuator cap for a fluid spray dispenser
An actuator cap (1; 50) for a fluid spray dispenser comprises a second body part (2) and a first body part (3). The first body part (3) is adapted for connection to a container for the fluid to be dispensed and incorporates a spray channel arrangement (4). The second body part (2) incorporates an actuator button (5) and is rotatable with respect to the first body part (3) from a first position in which the actuator button (5) is non-elevated into a second position in which the actuator button (5) is elevated and capable of depression to cause depression of a part (16) of the spray channel arrangement (4). The actuator button (4) defines a first cam profile (20) along which a first cam follower (22) defined by the first body part (3) travels to cause elevation or retraction of the actuator button (5) when the second body part (3) is rotated. The actuator button (5) also defines a second cam profile (23) that bears against said part (21) of the spray channel arrangement (4) such that when the actuator button (5) is in its elevated position and depressed the actuator button (5) depresses the second cam profile (23) and in turn depresses the part (21) of the spray channel arrangement (4) relative to the first body part (3) to dispense fluid from the container when in use. Preferably, the first and second body parts (3, 2) are individual, integrally moulded components that are snap-fitted together to assemble the actuator cap (1; 50).
Mixing container and spray container including mixing container
A mixing container includes a body having an upper opening and containing a dissolving agent, at least one receiving chamber protruding outward from an inner peripheral surface of the body, having a hollow defined in the protrusion where a press-through pack (PTP) sheet is fittable from inside the body, and formed from a flexible material, a support including a plate and a releasing hole that communicates with an inlet of the hollow in the receiving chamber when the plate is installed on the inner peripheral surface of the body and allows a substance stored in the PTP sheet to be released into the body, and holds an edge of the PTP sheet between the inner peripheral surface of the body and the plate, and a holding structure that holds the support on the inner peripheral surface of the body.
SPOUTING CONTAINER
A dispensing container capable of changing the ratio between the amounts of two kinds of contents to be dispensed, includes two container bodies, two pumps including two stems, an adjusting member configured to press the stems and to be rotatable about an axis extending in a substantially vertical direction, and a pressing head configured to, in response to a depressing operation, rotate about an axis extending in a substantially horizontal direction, to thereby depress the stems via the adjusting member. The adjusting member includes a plurality of pressing portions against which the stems are pressed, and when the adjusting member is rotated about the axis, a depressing stroke of the one of the plurality of pressing portions on the side of one of the stems becomes shorter, and a depressing stroke of the other one of the plurality of pressing portions on the side of the other stem becomes longer.
Trigger sprayer with improved venting system and methods of using the same
A sprayer device with a trigger operated pump is operative for pumping and spraying liquid from an attached liquid container. The trigger sprayer includes valve body provided with a base portion that is configured to be mounted to the neck of the liquid container and a delivery nozzle from which the liquid is sprayed. A fluid flow path extends from the base portion to the delivery nozzle. A pumping chamber is in fluid communication with the flow passage and there is a vent opening between the pumping chamber and the interior of said base. A piston with spaced inboard and outboard seals is movable in the pumping chamber and the vent opening is located between the seals. A check valve is disposed between the vent opening and the interior of the base portion to prevent liquid from the container from backflowing into the pumping chamber during shipment and handling.
Trigger dispensing head with locking device
A trigger dispensing head for a liquid dispensing device includes a chassis, a trigger, elastic return means having a return element supported by the chassis, and a reversible locking device. The locking device is supported by the return element of a non-return element.
Portable spray system
Infectious diseases may be acquired in public areas such as transportation terminals, shopping centers, schools, hospitals, restaurants and hotels. Large surface areas may be disinfected using a spray system to distribute a suitable fluid such as a disinfectant. Many existing spray systems are large and unwieldy causing operator fatigue. Some spray systems have large, heavy external tanks that provide fluid to the spray system using an external fluid hose. Disclosed is an improved portable spraying system that may be carried by a system operator. The improved system has a tank, a pump, a valve, a nozzle, and a fan all powered by a battery. The tank, the pump, and the battery are arranged to minimize operator fatigue. With the valve set to the priming position, fluid recirculates to prime the pump. Once the pump is primed, the valve is turned to the spray position to begin spraying.
Gravity Fed Spray Head
A gravity fed spray head includes a housing, a coupling mounted atop the housing for fastening a container above the housing, a sprayer mounted to a horizontal extension of the housing, a pump mounted inside the housing below the coupling, the pump having an inlet and an outlet facing the coupling, and a trigger having a first end rotatably mounted to the housing below the coupling, and a second end extending below the pump, the trigger coupled to a trigger lever for actuating the pump.
Device, system and method for dispensing a liquid from a container
The invention relates to a device (1) for dispensing a liquid from a container (C), comprising a pump (2) having a suction side (S) that is adapted to be brought into fluid communication with the container (C), a spray nozzle (3) in fluid communication with a pressure side (P) of the pump (2) through an outlet channel (4), a pre-compression valve (5) arranged in the outlet channel (4), and a gas buffer (9) in fluid communication with the pressure side (P) of the pump (2) and with the spray nozzle (3). The gas buffer (9) may comprise a buffer chamber (10) in which a gas-filled resiliently deformable body (11) is arranged, and the gas buffer (9) may extend from the pressure side (P) of the pump (2) in a different direction than the outlet channel (4). The invention further relates to a system for dispensing a liquid, comprising a container (C) that is filled with the liquid and a dispensing device (1) of the type described above connected to the container (C). And the invention relates to a method for dispensing a liquid, comprising the steps of:—drawing the liquid from a container (C) and pressurizing the liquid by actuating a pump (2), wherein the container (C) and the pump (2) form part of a dispensing system;—guiding a part of the pressurized liquid to a spray nozzle (3) of the dispensing system;—spraying the liquid from the nozzle (3);—guiding another part of the pressurized liquid to a gas buffer (9) for temporary storage; and—spraying the stored liquid from the nozzle (3) when the pump (2) is not being actuated; wherein the pressurized liquid is guided from the pump (2) to the spray nozzle (3) in a different direction than from the pump (2) to the gas buffer (9).
Multi-chamber hypochlorous acid dispenser
The invention provides a skin disinfectant for treating skin with eczema, preventing bacterial proliferation, and removing biofilm. Compositions of the invention include hypochlorous acid, acetic acid, water, and one or more additives or excipients. The formulation process removes metal ions, reduces ionic strength, controls pH, and reduces exposure to air, thus improving stability and lengthening shelf-life.
Hand-operated bottle and container dispensing assistance device and method
An apparatus, method, and system that uses a lever action hand grip that can include an adjustable receiver for a variety of diameters, form factors, and other variables for different containers of liquids or aerosols that are desired to be dispensed. A linkage connects the lever action hand-grip to a working end. The working end moves in arcuate fashion in response to pivoting of the lever. The proportional working end motion path can serve to both push down an aerosol spray head to dispense, or laterally push or pump other types of dispensing heads. Optionally, the linkage can have at least one, and sometimes two or three, different adjustments for such things as size and location of a dispensing head for a variety of dispensing containers and types, range of motion, type of interface at the working end, and specifically what type of working end relative to a dispensing head of a container or bottle.
