Aerosol sprayers and methods of using the same

An aerosol sprayer may be connected to an aerosol container to form an aerosol delivery system. The aerosol sprayer includes a base secured to the container, a cap secured to the base, a pivoting trigger and a nozzle which is slidably movable relative to the trigger between an extended operable position and a retracted, locked position. The nozzle and trigger have interfitting locking structures to prevent actuation of the trigger when the nozzle is in the retracted locked position.

TRIGGER SPRAYER ASSEMBLY WITH IMPROVED ASSEMBLY PROCESS

A method of assembling a trigger sprayer assembly includes providing an engine having a piston chamber and a fluid passage that is fluidly coupled to the piston chamber, the fluid passage extending from an input portion to an output portion. The method further includes inserting a piston component into the piston chamber, and coupling a trigger lever to the engine and the piston component. Pivoting the trigger lever relative to the engine pushes and pulls the piston component within the piston chamber to drive fluid from the input portion to the output portion of the fluid passage. The method further includes coupling a shroud to the engine, where the coupling comprises positioning a rail protrusion of the engine within a corresponding recess formed in the shroud, and inserting a shelf extending from an interior surface of the shroud into a pair of receiving clips extending from the engine.

TRIGGER SPRAYER WITH REFILL PORT
20220280959 · 2022-09-08 ·

A system for refilling a trigger sprayer bottle assembly includes the trigger sprayer bottle assembly including a trigger movable between a first trigger position and a second trigger position. A refillable bottle is coupled to the trigger such that material within the refillable bottle is dispensed from the refillable bottle when the trigger is moved from the first trigger position to the second trigger position. The trigger sprayer bottle assembly includes a first refill port through which material is added to the refillable bottle. The trigger sprayer bottle assembly is selectively coupled to a refilling assembly. The refilling assembly includes a refill reservoir and a second refill port through which material is removed from the refill reservoir. The second refill port is selectively coupled to the first refill port when the trigger sprayer bottle assembly is coupled to the refilling assembly.

A handheld spray device has a flexible bellow coupled to a base to thereby retain liquid therein. The bellow has a bulbous section adjacent the base, narrows away from the base to terminal section opposite the base and has a side notch formed at one side of the bellow between the bulbous section and the terminal section. The base also has a nozzle therethrough such that when the bellow is squeezed in use, the liquid is forced via the nozzle.

Metered and active sprayer devices with aerosol functionality (“Flairosol II”)

In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, “Flairosol” dispensing devices can be provided. Such devices utilize a combination of Flair® technology, pre-compression valves and aerosol-like pressurization of the dispensed liquid. Such a dispensing device has, for example, a main body comprising a pressure chamber, the latter being provided with a pressure piston and a pressure spring. The device further has a piston and a piston chamber which draws liquid from a container, for example, the inner container of a Flair® bottle, and fills the pressure chamber with that liquid as a user operates a trigger in various compression and release strokes. The piston chamber has both an inlet valve and an outlet valve, which serve to prevent backflow. Liquid exiting the piston chamber under pressure (supplied by, a user pumping the trigger) enters a central vertical channel which is in fluid communication with both the pressure chamber (above the pressure piston) and a dome valve provided near the outlet channel at the top of the dispensing head. The dome valve has a preset pressure, such that once exceeded by the liquid, opens and allows for a spray. If the liquid pressure drops below such preset pressure, the dome valve closes off the outlet channel, which serves to regulate the strength of the flow and preclude leakage. Alternatively, in an activated embodiment, for example, once the liquid is sufficiently pressurized, it can be dispensed by a user allowing the dome valve to open by pressing on an activation button that removes a dome lock.

A dispensing device including a bottle provided with a neck and a trigger dispensing head fitted to the neck is provided. The dispensing head includes a socket at least partially housed in the neck compartment, a main body that, with the socket, delimits a valve compartment in the neck, a valve group, a piston, a chassis, a trigger group, and elastic return elements. The valve group is contained in the valve compartment, limiting the overall size of the device.

Portable Misting Fan

A necklace misting fan includes a housing, a water reservoir, spray pump system, power supply, fan, and motor within the housing, an air inlet on a front side of the housing, and an air outlet on a top side of the housing. A fan power switch and a spray pump actuator are mounted to the housing. A spray nozzle on the top side of the housing horizontally spaced from the air outlet, is adapted and configured to emit a water spray generally vertically upward and obliquely to a generally vertical upward discharge air stream from the air outlet, when the spray pump actuator is actuated.

Trigger pump dispenser

An improved pump is disclosed comprising a pump body having a piston supported by a base from a fluid reservoir. A trigger extends a between a first portion and a second portion with an intermediate trigger pivot mounted relative to the base. A cam and a cam follower couples the first portion of the trigger with the piston for enabling a depression of the second portion trigger to move the piston to spray fluid from the pump body orifice.
