20170106403 · 2017-04-20 ·

According to embodiments of the invention, apparatuses and devices are provided for a liquid compound dispensing device. Generally, the dispenser includes a frame for carrying a composition, a plunger shaft having a piston at one end for urging the composition out of the frame, and one or more plunger driving assemblies for driving the actuator shaft to expel the compound. The plunger driving assemblies may have one or more downwardly extending handles, and the assembly includes one or more triggers extending upwardly within the housing. One or more triggers may be pressed to expel compound. Further, one or more triggers and/or handles may be movable to different portions of the dispensing device.

CAULKING GUN

The present invention relates to a caulking gun for dispensing viscous material comprising a stock a cartridge keep a push rod longitudinally moveably mounted in the stock provided at its one end with a plunger which engages the piston of a cartridge placed in the cartridge keep, means for engaging the push rod to advance it, brake means hinged to the stock and provided with a clearance hole for engaging the push rod such that the push rod is moveable in a direction advancing the push rod towards the cartridge and is held in a direction retreating the push rod from the cartridge, which brake means are arranged to travel to a first position relative to the stock as the push rod advances and to a second position as the push rod retreats thereby defining the retreat of the push rod, the brake means being inclined relative to the axis of the push rod and adjusting means for varying the retreat of the push rod.

In order to provide an adjustable caulking gun with at least two different levels of retreat of the push rod giving the user easily a visual feedback of the chosen retreat of the push rod, it is proposed according to the present invention that the adjusting means are configured as a rotatable wheel with a slope, the rotatable wheel being positioned on the axis of the push rod between the stock and the brake means, the distance between the highest point of the slope and the brake means defining the retreat of the push rod.

This rotatable wheel allows the user to select the level of retreat of the push rod by turning the wheel between a first position with no retreat of the push rod and a second position with a maximum retreat of the push rod resulting in a anti-drip behaviour of the caulking gun.

MANUAL VISCOUS LIQUID DISPENSING DEVICE HAVING A LOCKING MECHANISM

A product dispensing device includes a body having a first end and a second end; a product holding mechanism at the first end; a plunger defining a rack, supported by and extending through the product holding mechanism and the body from the first end to the second end; a drive mechanism, pivotally coupled to the body, including a trigger, a trigger return spring, and a pawl connected to the trigger via a pawl bias spring for bringing the pawl into contact with the plunger, the pawl having pawl teeth shaped to complement the rack; and a locking mechanism configured to limit a movement of the plunger in a rearwards direction while the locking mechanism is in a locked configuration.

Caulking gun load sensitive variable ratio drive device

Disclosed systems provide cost effective dispensers of construction sealant, sausage tubes and other products having varied and even unknown levels of viscosity. A variable ratio drive cam pivots in response to the trigger tension caused by the viscosity of the material to be dispensed. In a relative high force mode, encountered with high viscosity payloads, the drive cam slightly pivots, keeping the distance traveled by the drive rod relatively small in response to a pull of the trigger. This results in a relatively high thrust ratio. Conversely, in dispensing a product with a relatively low viscosity, the drive cam pivots by a greater degree, causing a longer movement of the drive rod in response to the distance traveled by the trigger resulting in a lower thrust ratio. The system works well in caulking guns, bulk loading tools and multi tube tools, such that multiple tools are not required.

Caulking gun

A caulking gun includes is provided, including: a gun body, a cartridge sleeve, two push rods, a driving member, a lever and a switch mechanism. The cartridge sleeve is rotatably connected to the gun body and configured to receive two sealants. The two push rods are movably disposed on the gun body. The driving member is movably disposed on the gun body and drives the two push rods to move. The lever is swingably disposed on the gun body about a pivot center and includes an abutting portion which is abuttable against the driving member. The switch mechanism is disposed between the gun body and the lever and includes a switch member being movable between a first position and a second position.

Dispenser

A dispenser for dispensing materials includes a dispenser body, a driving rod movable relative to the dispenser body and into the receptacle, a trigger lever having an actuation member for displacing the driving rod upon rotation of the trigger lever around a rotation axis, and a pivot member that rotatably connects the trigger lever to the dispenser body and defines the rotation axis. The pivot member is movably connected to the trigger lever such that a lever distance between the rotation axis and the actuation member changes upon movement of the pivot member relative to the trigger lever. The dispenser includes an adjustment mechanism for adjusting a mechanical advantage of the trigger lever by changing the lever distance and to adjustably fix the lever distance to at least a minimum distance and a maximum distance.
