SUB-UNIT OF A SMOKING ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MAKING IT
A sub-unit of a smoking article includes a tubular wrapper which extends along a main axis of extension and internally defines a containment chamber containing a filling material of the tobacco industry. The tubular wrapper has an access opening on at least one of its ends for access to the containment chamber. The sub-unit also includes at least one closing element applied to the at least one end of the tubular wrapper to define a closing wall for closing the access opening. The closing element extends transversely to the main axis of extension in such a way as to at least partly close the access opening.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE WITH LOW DENSITY SUBSTRATE
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-generating substrate; and a downstream section extending from a downstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to a downstream end of the aerosol-generating article, the aerosol-generating substrate having a density of no more than 0.5 grams per cubic centimetre, and the aerosol-generating substrate having a length-to-diameter ratio of no more than 6.0. An aerosol-generating system including the aerosol-generating article and an aerosol-generating device is also provided.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE HAVING A SHREDDED TOBACCO SUBSTRATE AND AN UPSTREAM SECTION
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: a rod of aerosol-generating substrate having a length of between 8 millimetres and 16 millimetres, the aerosol-generating substrate including a shredded tobacco material having an average density of between 150 mg per cubic centimetre and 500 mg per cubic centimetre; a downstream section provided downstream of the rod of aerosol-generating substrate, the downstream section including at least one hollow tubular element; and an upstream element provided upstream of the rod of aerosol-generating substrate and abutting an upstream end of the rod of aerosol-generating substrate, the upstream element having a length of between 2 millimetres and 8 millimetres.
Smoking product and method of making
Provided are materials for making a hand rolled smoking article having a novel sheet. The sheet can include a rectangular portion and an irregular shaped portion. The sheet can be manufactured from tobacco leaf or foil, homogenized tobacco paper, or conventionally available rolling paper. The sheet can be filled with a filler material and rolled to form a cigar or cigarette.
SMOKING PRODUCT TO WHICH TRIPLE CARE TECHNOLOGY FOR REDUCING TOBACCO SMELL IS APPLIED
A smoking product includes: a smoking material portion which is wrapped by a smoking material wrapper; a filter portion whose upstream end portion is combined with the smoking material portion, which includes a capsule containing a flavoring, and which is wrapped by a filter wrapper; and a tipping wrapper which surrounds at least a partial region of the smoking material portion and the filter portion so that the smoking material portion and the filter portion are combined, wherein the tipping wrapper includes a first perforation region including a plurality of perforations formed along an outer circumferential surface of the tipping wrapper and a second perforation region including a plurality of perforations formed downstream of the first perforation region and along the outer circumferential surface of the tipping wrapper, and the capsule is disposed downstream of the first perforation region and upstream of the second perforation region.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE HAVING A SHREDDED TOBACCO SUBSTRATE AND AN UPSTREAM ELEMENT
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: a rod of aerosol-generating substrate having a length from 8 to 16 mm, the substrate including a shredded tobacco material having an average density from 150 to 500 mg/cm.sup.3 and being in a form of cut filler or a shredded sheet of homogenised tobacco material; a downstream section downstream of the rod and including at least one hollow tubular element abutting a downstream end of the rod; an upstream element provided upstream of the rod and abutting an upstream end of the rod, an upstream end of the upstream element defining an upstream end of the article; and a ventilation zone at a location along the hollow tubular element and being configured to admit ambient air into a lumen of the hollow tubular element, a distance between the ventilation zone and the upstream end of the upstream element being from 26 to 33 mm.
AEROSOL-GENERATING COMPONENT
An aerosol-generating component for use with a non-combustible aerosol provision device includes a first sheet including aerosol-generating material and a second sheet including heating material that is heatable by penetration with a varying magnetic field. A wrapper including paper circumscribes the first and second sheets and has a permeability below 500 Coresta units. Corresponding methods of manufacture are also provided.
CIGARETTE AND AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE FOR CIGARETTE
A cigarette includes a tobacco rod, a front end plug positioned at a front end of the tobacco rod, a filter rod positioned at a rear end of the tobacco rod, and a wrapper surrounding the tobacco rod, the front end plug, and the filter rod and including at least one perforation formed in an area of the wrapper to allow air to flow to the inside of the wrapper.
SMOKING ARTICLE FILTER
A mouthpiece or filter (1) comprising a longitudinally extending (e.g. cylindrical) rod (2) of filtering material including a longitudinally extending channel (3) which extends along the full length of the mouthpiece or filter.
