Wrapping paper for non-combustible heated type smoking article, non-combustible heated type smoking article, and electrically-heated smoking system
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a wrapping paper for a non-combustible heated-type smoking article with which the occurrence of staining is suppressed. The present invention resolves said problem by means of a wrapping paper for a non-combustible heated type smoking article, the wrapping paper having a basis weight of at least 35 g/m.sup.2, a pulp freeness of at least 69? SR, an air permeability of no more than 20 CU, and an opacity of no more than 85%.
ADHESIVE FREE TOBACCO PRODUCT TIP ASSEMBLY
A tobacco product tip assembly. The tobacco product tip assembly includes a tip portion comprising a tip wall defining an inhalation chamber; the tip portion extending into a body portion comprising a body wall defining an insertion chamber, the insertion chamber being in communication with the inhalation chamber; the body wall comprising a mechanical fastener. A tobacco product assembly and a process for producing a tobacco product assembly are also included.
AEROSOL-GENERATING DEVICE WITH REDUCED LEAKAGE
An aerosol-generating device includes a housing having a first end defining a mouthpiece, a second end, and a cavity defined between the first end and the second end. The device also includes a reservoir within the cavity. The reservoir is configured to store a liquid aerosol-forming substrate. The device also includes an atomizer and a valve within the mouthpiece of the housing. The valve has a first side and an second side. The second side of the valve includes a hydrophilic coating, a hydrophobic coating, or both a hydrophilic coating and a hydrophobic coating.
ARTICLE FOR USE IN A NON-COMBUSTIBLE AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
An article for use in an aerosol provision includes sections of aerosol-generating material coaxially aligned along a longitudinal axis of the article. A cross sectional area of each section transverse to the longitudinal axis is different. Also provided is a system including a non-combustible aerosol provision device, and an article having sections of aerosol-generating material coaxially aligned along a longitudinal axis of the article. The cross sectional area of each section transverse to the longitudinal axis is different. The device includes a article receiving cavity and a heater surrounding said cavity such that, when the article is received the cavity, the heater is adjacent at least one of said sections.
GLASS TIP WITH CROSS CUT END FOR USE WITH SMOKABLE SUBSTANCES CONTAINED WITHIN A WRAP AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE TIP
A tip for being attached to a wrapper containing a smokable substance. The tip includes a tube having a generally cylindrical shape, having two ends each forming an opening at opposite ends of said tube. The openings are fluidly connected to each other by a chamber between the two ends, the chamber and said two ends being axially aligned. A first one of the two ends has a t-shaped opening and a second one of the two ends has a circular opening. The second end has an outside diameter less than an outside diameter of the first end. A method for making the tip is also described.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE WITH TILTED PERFORATION IN VENTILATION ZONE
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: a rod of aerosol-generating substrate; and a ventilation zone including perforations and being arranged downstream of the rod, the perforations being arranged in a peripheral wall of the ventilation zone, each perforation having a central axis, the aerosol-generating article having a central axis, a smallest distance between the central axis of each perforation and the central axis of the aerosol-generating article being between 3% and 15% of an outer diameter of the aerosol-generating article, a thickness of the peripheral wall of the ventilation zone being between 0.1 millimeter and 2.5 millimeters, and the aerosol-generating article having a ventilation level of at least 20%. An aerosol-generating system including an aerosol-generating device having a cavity configured to receive the aerosol-generating article is also provided. A method for manufacturing an aerosol-generating article is also provided.
Cigarette Tube
A cigarette tube including a cylindrical mouthpiece made of cardboard with a casing arranged thereon, which is made of cigarette paper and is longer than the mouthpiece, the mouthpiece end, which is closest to the smoking blend filling side, is somewhat compressed inwards and is configured to partially bridge the mouthpiece cavity, and, from the other end of the mouthpiece, a cardboard rod is inserted into the middle which is twisted twice lengthwise.
AN ARTICLE FOR USE WITH A NON-COMBUSTIBLE AEROSOL PROVISION DEVICE
An article for use with a non-combustible aerosol provision device including a mouth end segment to be received in the mouth of a user; an aerosol-generating material configured to generate an aerosol when the article is received in the device and a user draws on the mouth end segment, and a tubular cooling segment having a longitudinal axis and being located between the aerosol-generating material and the mouth end segment through which the aerosol flows towards the mouth end segment. The tubular cooling segment includes a ventilation region through which air is drawn into the tubular cooling segment and the ventilation region is configured such that a swirling flow is generated by air entering the tubular cooling segment through the ventilation region.
Smoking article wrapper having a window
A wrapper (310) for a smoking article comprises a sheet material extending in a first direction (24) in which the wrapper (310) is wrapped around a smoking article and a second direction (20) perpendicular to the first direction (24). The wrapper (310) further comprises a window (312) in the sheet material, the window (312) having a perimeter. Any linear segment of the perimeter forming an angle of less than 10? with respect to the second direction (20) has a length of less than 0.5 millimeters, and any curved portion of the perimeter having a continuum of tangents each forming an angle of less than 10? with respect to the second direction (20) has a length of less than 0.5 millimeters. Such linear segments and curved portions of the perimeter are spaced apart by a distance of at least 0.5 millimeters along the length of the perimeter.
