Provided is rolling paper for a non-combustion-heating-type smoking product, the rolling paper having a section in which a heat-sensitive material is added on a surface that serves as an outer circumferential surface of a non-combustion-heating-type smoking product, wherein a color difference E* between the color of, before heating the rolling paper, the section in which the heat-sensitive material is added and the color of, after heating the rolling paper for five minutes at 200 C., the section in which the heat-sensitive material is added is 15 or greater.
Smoking article and method
A method of constructing a cigar includes the providing of a plurality of frusto-conically shaped tubes, each tube being of a smokable material such as a spirally wrapped layer of tobacco material. The tubes are nested, one tube inside the other tube. The nested tubes are then attached to a mouthpiece having a socket that is internally threaded. The nested tubes and mouthpiece are packaged either filled with tobacco filler material, partially filled, or unfilled in a container.
SMOKING ARTICLE WITH DOWNSTREAM FLAVOR ADDITION
A smoking article that comprises at least one substrate material section having an aerosol precursor composition associated therewith, a flavor addition component, and a mouthpiece disposed downstream from the at least one substrate material section, the mouthpiece including a filter. In one implementation, the mouthpiece may include the flavor addition component, and the flavor addition component may comprise a plurality of flavor beads proximate a hollow flow tube, the flow tube including a plurality of peripheral openings defined therethrough. In another implementation, the mouthpiece may include the flavor addition component, the filter may define a cavity therein, the flavor addition component may comprise a plurality of flavor beads, and the plurality of flavor beads may be located in the cavity.
Tapered glass tip for use with smokable substances contained within a wrap and method for manufacturing the tip
A method of manufacturing a tip for use with smokeable substances. A tube is rotated while applying heat to a section. The heated section is squeezed with tapered rollers and a pivoting rod is inserted. The rollers and rod are removed and heat is again applied. The heated portion is squeezed a second time with the tapered rollers and the rod is reinserted. The rollers and rod are removed and heat is again applied. The heated portion is again squeezed with the tapered rollers and the pivoting rod is again reinserted. The rollers and rod are removed and heat is applied to the end of the tube. The tube is scored above the end to form a scored line. Heat is applied to the scored line. Water is sprayed onto the scored line to split the tube into two pieces. Heat is applied to the tube at the split end.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE HAVING A SHREDDED TOBACCO SUBSTRATE AND AN UPSTREAM ELEMENT
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: a rod of aerosol-generating substrate having a length from 8 to 16 mm, the substrate including a shredded tobacco material having an average density from 150 to 500 mg/cm.sup.3 and being in a form of cut filler or a shredded sheet of homogenised tobacco material; a downstream section downstream of the rod and including at least one hollow tubular element abutting a downstream end of the rod; an upstream element provided upstream of the rod and abutting an upstream end of the rod, an upstream end of the upstream element defining an upstream end of the article; and a ventilation zone at a location along the hollow tubular element and being configured to admit ambient air into a lumen of the hollow tubular element, a distance between the ventilation zone and the upstream end of the upstream element being from 26 to 33 mm.
