Smoking Article and Method for Manufacturing a Smoking Article
A smoking article includes a cylindrical shape with a longitudinal axis running through respective base areas of a distal end and a mouth end of the smoking article, wherein the smoking article includes the following segments, which are arranged subsequently in the following order from the distal to the mouth end, and are at least in part wrapped in a circumferential wrapper: a tobacco segment including tobacco or tobacco derived smokable material, a cooling segment including a cylindrically shaped cooler material having a first flow path from the tobacco segment to a filter segment, the filter segment including a second flow path from the cooling segment to the mouth end. A surface of the cooler material is at least in part coated with a tobacco product including tobacco particles having an average particle size of 30 μm and a dispersion medium for dispersing the tobacco particles.
A Smoking Article with a Heated Segment Comprising a Tobacco Product
The invention relates to a smoking article with a distal end and a mouth end, that extends in a circumferential direction and a longitudinal direction to form a cylindrical shape. Along the longitudinal direction from the distal to the mouth end at least one heated segment comprising tobacco or reconstituted tobacco binder (RTB), at least one cooling segment comprising a cylindrically shaped cooler material and a filter segment are arranged. The three sections create a flow path from the distal to the mouth end, wherein the heated segment, the cooling segment and the filter segment are at least in part enclosed by a first wrapper. The heated segment comprises at least one second wrapper. A smoking article is characterized in that the second wrapper is coated with a tobacco product comprising tobacco particles having an average particle size of 30 μm and a dispersion medium for dispersing the tobacco particles.
Smokeless cigarette having decreased vapor temperature and preventing heat-caused collapse of cigarette holder
A smokeless cigarette having a decreased vapor temperature and preventing the heat-caused collapse of a cigarette holder comprises a filter tip, a heat-resistant hollow section and a tobacco section sequentially connected, wherein the heat-resistant hollow section consists of a heat-resistant hollow section cover and a heat-resistant hollow section hollow layer. The heat-resistant hollow section is made by rolling a high-temperature resistant material into a hollow tubular structure; the high-temperature resistant material forms the heat-resistant hollow section cover. The heat-resistant hollow section hollow layer is a cavity structure formed and surrounded by the heat-resistant hollow section cover. An inner layer of the heat-resistant hollow section cover is coated with a layer of phase-change heat-absorbing material, or the heat-resistant hollow section hollow layer is filled with a phase-change heat-absorbing material.
Smoking article with reduced sidestream smoke
A smoking article (10) comprises a tobacco rod (12) and a filter (14) connected to the tobacco rod. The filter (14) comprises a flow restrictor (24). The smoking article further comprises a ventilation zone (18) at a location along the filter downstream of the flow restrictor. The diameter of the tobacco rod (12) is from about 5 mm to about 8.5 mm, the tobacco packing density within the tobacco rod is from about 180 mg/cubic centimetre to about 280 mg/cubic centimetre, and the length of the tobacco rod is from about 15 mm to about 45 mm. Further, the tobacco rod (12) is circumscribed by a wrapper (13) having an air permeability of less than about 20 Coresta units, the wrapper being made of a transparent regenerated cellulose film, or cellophane.
AEROSOL GENERATING SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE INDUCTOR COILS
An aerosol-generating device is provided, including: a housing having a chamber configured to receive at least a portion of an aerosol-forming article; a first helical inductor coil disposed at least partially around the chamber; a second helical inductor coil disposed at least partially around, or adjacent to, the chamber; and an elongate susceptor element configured to be inductively heatable by one or both of the first and the second helical inductor coils to heat at least a portion of an aerosol-forming substrate which is part of the aerosol-forming article, when the aerosol-forming substrate is at least partially received in the chamber. An aerosol-generating system including the aerosol-generating device is also provided.
Cigarillo
A cigarillo (1) and a method of manufacturing a cigarillo are disclosed. The cigarillo comprises a rod (2) of smokable material wrapped in a wrapper (3) comprising reconstituted tobacco material, a filter plug (4) adjacent to, and in axial alignment with, the wrapped rod of smokable material, and a band of tipping paper (7) circumscribing the filter. The wrapper has a porosity of 3-65 CORESTA units, and the cigarillo has a circumference of 16-18 mm.
FLAVOR CONTAINING SHEET COMPRISING MODIFIED CELLULOSE AND SMOKING ARTICLE COMPRISING THE SAME
Provided are: a fragrance-containing sheet for smoking articles, which includes moisture, modified cellulose, and fragrance such that fragrance can be dissolved at room temperature without a heating process; and a smoking article including the same.
Methods for treating tobacco and tobacco-derived materials to reduce nitrosamines
A method for reducing the content of nitrosamines in a tobacco material is provided herein, the method involving the steps of contacting a tobacco material with a treatment solution so as to form a treatment composition containing, in addition to the tobacco material, an acid, a complexing agent, a solvent, and, optionally, a salt, at a pH of about 5.5 or less, to obtain a tobacco material having a tobacco-specific nitrosamine content that is lower than the initial tobacco-specific nitrosamine content. The method can optionally include further processing of the tobacco material. Smoking articles and other tobacco products incorporating such treated tobacco materials are also provided.
Filter For Smoking or Vaping Article Comprising a Nonwoven Substrate
The present invention relates to a filter comprising a nonwoven substrate having a low density and comprising natural fibers and a binder. The filter can be used as a filter for a smoking or vaping article.
