Tool holder

A tool holder includes a collet configured to be clamped to the shank of a tool and a pull-out protection element configured to secure the tool against being pulled out of the collet. The pull-out protection further includes a protection element such that pull-out forces acting on the tool are transmitted to the collet. The protection element is mounted so as to be moveable relative to the collet and has a wedge-shaped configuration as well as force-transmission surface. When the protection element is in a radially inner engaged position with the tool, the protection element is configured to be clamped to the cool and the collet so as to be self locking.

Workpiece Support with Biocompatible Liner, and Methods of Making and Using Same

Disclosed herein is workpiece support including a body comprising a radially contractible portion including a plurality of wall sections each having an inner wall surface, the wall sections being separated from one another by slots, and a biocompatible liner comprising a plurality of liner sections fixed to the inner wall surfaces of the plurality of wall sections. An assembly containing the workpiece support, and methods of making and using the workpiece support, also are disclosed.

JIG FOR REFLECTION DEVICE AND ASSEMBLY INCLUDING THE SAME

A jig for a reflection device includes a collet having a skirt portion with an expandable outer diameter and a locking head on one end of the skirt portion, a sleeve into which the collet is inserted and one side of which is supported by being caught by the locking head, and an expansion pin inserted into the collet and expanding the outer diameter of the skirt portion.

Provided is a gripping method including: a phase matching step of matching tool relief grooves of a contact metal member and track grooves of a constant velocity universal joint component with each other in phase; a measuring step of measuring phase differences between the track grooves of the constant velocity universal joint component and a female spline of the constant velocity universal joint component; a matching step of matching, based on a result of the measuring step, a stopper with a recessed portion of the female spline having the smallest phase difference and gripping the constant velocity universal joint component by a collet chuck. Under a state in which the constant velocity universal joint component is gripped by the collet chuck, the contact metal member holds the constant velocity universal joint component.
