Cooling cigarette filter and smoking product
A cooling cigarette filter and a smoking product are provided. The cooling cigarette filter comprises a cooling section. The cooling section is provided with one or more channels connecting two ends of the cooling section, and an inner surface of each channel is coated with a cooling material. The cooling material comprises an inorganic phase change material and PEG, and the inorganic phase change material comprises at least one of Na2CO3.Math.10H2O, CH3COONa.Math.3H2O, CaCl2.Math.4H2O, and Na2SO4.Math.10H2O. The cooling cigarette filter has the advantages of ensuring the amount of smoke and lowering the temperature of the smoke entering the mouth, especially in the cooling section. Through the combination design of the structure of the cooling stick and the type and amount of the cooling material, the smoke can flow out of a smoke generation section rapidly and smoothly.
A COMPONENT FOR AN ARTICLE FOR USE IN OR AS AN AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
A component for an article, the article being for use in or as an aerosol provision system, the component including a body of material that extends in a longitudinal direction of the article, the body of material being formed from a crimped sheet material which is gathered into said body of material and circumscribed by a plug wrap; wherein the plug wrap is formed from a longitudinal sheet of plug wrap, wherein the longitudinal sheet of plug wrap is provided with an adhesive pattern that extends along a length of the longitudinal sheet of plug wrap and spans at least 40% of a width of the longitudinal sheet of plug wrap.
LYOCELL MATERIAL, SMOKING ARTICLE FILTER, SMOKING ARTICLE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Provided are a lyocell material, a filter for a smoking article and including the lyocell material, and a method of manufacturing these. The lyocell material manufactured according to the present application and a filter for a smoking article including the same replace conventional cellulose acetate materials and filters, and not only has excellent biodegradability, but also provides excellent filter manufacturing processability and excellent tobacco physical properties (e.g. hardness).
Interface for smokable element to connect to a smoke and/or tar filter and related methods
Various structures for interfaces for a smokable element to connect to a smoke and/or tar filter, and related methods, are provided. For example, the structures and methods enable repeatably and securely connecting or interfacing a smokable element, e.g., an herbal joint, to an air filter, e.g., a smoke and/or tar filter. For instance, an interface can have a horn-shaped end with a deformable opening that receives a smokable element, creating at least a partial seal between the deformable opening of the horn-shaped end and the smokable element. Also, the other end of the interface can have a round end that attaches to an air filter.
Smokable insert system including flavor releasing mechanism held by a lower partition
An insert system for use with a smokable (e.g., such as a pre-rolled or empty cone) including an internal partition that extends from the insert system's first end to an intermediate location between the insert system's first and its second end. A flavor releasing mechanism (e.g., a flavor ball) is located within the insert system between the intermediate location and the system's second end. Accordingly, the internal partition obstructs the flavor releasing mechanism from passing through the system's first end. The system's second end includes an obstructor (e.g., a perforated cap) thereby obstructing the flavor releasing mechanism from passing through the system's second end. The insert system may then be coupled with a smokable item to serve as the item's mouthpiece.
FILTER MATERIALS AND FILTERS MADE THEREFROM
The present invention relates to filter material for inclusion in a smoking article, said filter material comprising a base material comprising or made from fibres having a first diameter or mean diameter, and fine fibres having a diameter or mean diameter which is smaller than the first diameter, wherein the filter material comprises more than 10% by weight and/or by volume fine fibres or wherein the diameter or mean diameter of the fine fibres is between about 1.0 m and about 1.5 m. The invention also relates to filters or filter elements comprising the filter material, smoking articles comprising the same, and use of the filter material in smoke filtration.
The lyocell material manufactured according to the present application and a filter for a smoking article including the same replace conventional cellulose acetate materials and filters, and not only has excellent biodegradability, but also provides excellent filter manufacturing processability and excellent tobacco physical properties (e.g. hardness).
Adhesive Smoking Detector for Enclosures
A device for detecting the presence of past smoking events within an enclosure is provided. The base filter will react to byproducts including tobacco and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and will then activate the filter base chemicals to register the smoking events. The device will be facilitated by a protecting case which houses a filter. The design will also interact with the ambient environment and provide ventilation to the filter while monitoring and detecting smoking events.
AN ARTICLE FOR USE IN AN AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
An article for use in an aerosol provision system, an aerosol provision system including the article and a method for forming the article. In examples of the invention the article includes an aerosol generating material and a downstream portion located downstream of the aerosol generating material. The downstream portion includes separate first and second bodies of material, each of the first and second bodies of material being formed from respective first and second crimped sheet materials which are gathered into said bodies of material. The first body of material is downstream of the second body of material and the first body of material is provided with a tubular element disposed within the first body of material so as to be circumferentially surrounded by the first body of material. An aerosol modifying release component is provided within the second body of material.
Tobacco smoke filter and method of production
A method of producing a flavoured tobacco smoke filter or filter element comprising a self-sustaining longitudinally extending cylindrical core comprising fibres or filaments of tobacco smoke filtering material which are bonded at their points of contact; the method comprising a step of applying a flavouring agent to a longitudinally advancing flow of filters and/or filter elements and/or multiple filter rods. Filters and filter elements are also provided.
