The filter assembly includes a cooling segment of between 20 mm and 30 mm in length for cooling the volatilized at least one component of the smokable material, a filter segment adjacent to the cooling segment for filtering the volatilized at least one component of the smokable material and a mouth end segment adjacent to the filter segment for being received in a mouth of a user. The cooling segment is located between the body of smokable material and the filter segment.
FILTER, AN AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE COMPRISING THE SAME, AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE FILTER
A filter included in an aerosol-generating article, according to embodiments, includes a first filter segment including a first filter element in which at least one heterogeneous material particle is contained, a second filter segment including a second filter element, and a wrapper wrapping the first filter segment and the second filter segment, wherein the first filter segment and the second filter segment are aligned in a longitudinal direction of the filter, and the first filter segment and the second filter segment are not physically separated.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE
An aerosol-generating article according to one aspect of the present disclosure may include a tobacco medium portion, a filter portion disposed to be spaced apart from the tobacco medium portion, a cooling portion disposed between the tobacco medium portion and the filter portion, and a heat transfer portion surrounding at least a portion of the cooling portion.
Cigarette with reduced smoke temperature and improved flavor
A cigarette with a reduced smoke temperature and an improved flavor includes a tobacco section (1), a filter section, and a smoke backflow section arranged between the tobacco section (1) and the filter section. An inlet hole (3) is provided at the smoke backflow section near the tobacco section (1) and intercommunication with the tobacco section (1). An outlet hole (6) is provided at the smoke backflow section near the filter section and intercommunicated with the filter section. Multiple airflow baffles (5) are staggered up and down inside the smoke backflow section and form a smoke backflow channel (4) which is sinuous. A first end of the smoke backflow channel (4) is intercommunicated with the inlet hole (3), and a second end of the smoke backflow channel (4) is intercommunicated with the outlet hole (6). Smoke enters the smoke backflow section from the inlet hole (3), and then passes through the smoke backflow channel (4). In the smoke backflow section, a flow distance of the smoke is increased, and a heat exchange among hot airflow, the airflow baffles (5) and inner walls of the smoke backflow section reduces a smoke temperature.
ARTICLE FOR USE IN AN APPARATUS FOR HEATING SMOKABLE MATERIAL
A smoking article for use with an apparatus for heating smokable material to volatilize at least one component of the smokable material, the article includes a body of smokable material and a filter assembly.
A smoking article, a smoking article filter section and a method of manufacturing a smoking article
A smoking article and a method of manufacturing a smoking article A smoking article has a filter section for receiving smoke and/or other aerosol generated by said smoking article, a variable ventilation arrangement configured to provide a user controllable level of ventilation into the filter section and a flavour source configured to release flavour to said smoke and/or other aerosol generated by said smoking article at a location in said smoke and/or other aerosol upstream of said ventilation arrangement.
Filter components, filters, smoking articles, and related methods, all for the controlled delivery of aerosols
A filter for a smoking article comprises a mouth end filter segment and a rod end filter segment. The rod end filter segment has a passage extending longitudinally therethrough. The passage has a diameter of about 1.0 mm or greater. In one embodiment, the rod end filter segment is comprised of an infinite pressure drop material. In another embodiment, the rod end filter segment is comprised of a low pressure drop material having a hollow tubular element disposed within to define the passage with an inner diameter greater than about 1.55 mm. Air dilution means are disposed in one of said filter segments to admit ventilating air into the filter.
Heat Not Burn Vaporizer Devices
Vaporizer devices for generating an inhalable aerosol are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a vaporizer device can include a receptacle, one or more heating elements positioned to heat the receptacle, and a cartridge configured to be inserted into the receptacle. The cartridge can include a container configured to heat vaporizable material when the heating element heats the receptacle, a lid with a plurality of first air inlets configured to direct air into the container, and a structure within the container, in which the structure is configured to direct the air through the vaporizable material to form a vaporized material.
AN ARTICLE FOR USE WITH A NON-COMBUSTIBLE AEROSOL PROVISION DEVICE
An article for use with a non-combustible aerosol provision device includes an aerosol generating material), a mouth end section, and a tubular element, having a longitudinal axis, located between the aerosol generating material and the mouth end section. The tubular element includes an inner wall, and a ventilation area in the tubular element through which air is drawn into the tubular element. A component is received in the tubular element and the component has an outer surface and is configured so that aerosol flow through the tubular element is diverted into a flow path formed between the outer surface of the component and the inner wall of the tubular element. The ventilation area is configured such that ventilation air enters the flow path through the ventilation area to mix with the aerosol which is flowing along the flow path, before flowing into the mouth end section).
