SMOKING ARTICLE WITH A MOUTH END CAVITY AND VENTILATION
A smoking article comprises a tobacco rod and a filter connected to the tobacco rod. The filter comprises a first filter segment and a hollow tube segment downstream of the first filter segment. The hollow tube segment defines a cavity at the mouth end of the filter providing an unrestricted flow channel that extends from the downstream end of the first filter segment to the mouth end of the filter. The length of the hollow tube segment is at least about 25 percent of the overall filter length. Further, the smoking article comprises a ventilation zone comprising at least one circumferential row of perforations provided at a location around the first filter segment.
TIP DEVICE FOR ELECTRONIC VAPING DEVICE
A tip device for an electronic vaping device may include a first conduit structure and a second conduit structure. The first conduit structure may be configured to direct a generated vapor through a first conduit. The second conduit structure may be configured to direct an air flow from an ambient environment through a second conduit. The second conduit structure may include an additive material on a surface of the second conduit structure, the additive material including an additive, the additive material configured to release the additive into the air flow directed through the second conduit. An interposing structure of the first conduit structure and the second conduit structure may physically isolate the additive material from the first conduit, such that the additive material is configured to release the additive into the air flow directed through the second conduit independently of the generated vapor directed through the first conduit.
Smoking article filter for easy extinguishing
There is provided a smoking article comprising a tobacco rod, a filter and tipping material attaching the tobacco rod and the filter. The filter comprises a plug of filtration material that defines a furthest downstream end of the smoking article, the plug being surrounded by one or more filter wrappers. The tipping material includes a ventilation zone. The tipping material and the filter wrapper or wrappers have a combined thickness (t) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the smoking article, and the smoking article, at a location about the plug of filtration material, has a diameter (D SA) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the smoking article. The diameter (D SA) to thickness (t) ratio is less than about 80 and the filtration material extends to the furthest downstream end of the smoking article.
NON-COMBUSTIBLE HEATING-TYPE SMOKING ARTICLE, ELECTRIC HEATING-TYPE SMOKING SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING NON-COMBUSTIBLE HEATING-TYPE SMOKING ARTICLE
A non-combustible heating-type smoking article includes: a tobacco filler; and a wrapper enclosing the tobacco filler. The wrapper includes: a substrate sheet made of metal; a first sheet made of paper and bonded to one surface of the substrate sheet on a side of the tobacco filler; and a second sheet made of paper and bonded to one other surface of the substrate sheet on a side opposite to the one surface.
SMOKING SUBSTITUTE CONSUMABLE
The present disclosure relates to smoking substitute consumables, including an aerosol-forming article comprising an aerosol-forming substrate and a terminal filter element at a downstream axial end of the article/consumable. The terminal filter element may comprise a hollow bore extending from an upstream axial end of the terminal filter element to a downstream axial end of the terminal filter element. The hollow bore may be off-set from the axial centre of the terminal filter element.
SMOKING SUBSTITUTE CONSUMABLE
The present disclosure provides an aerosol-forming article comprising an aerosol-forming substrate and an axially adjacent, downstream filter arrangement. In some implementations, the filter arrangement comprises an upstream filter element, an intermediate filter element and a terminal filter element. The upstream and terminal filter elements may be independently selected from a solid filter element and a hollow bore filter element. The intermediate filter element may be a hollow bore filter element having a greater bore diameter than any other hollow bore filter element in the filter arrangement.
VARIABLE-VENTILATION FILTER TIP AND CIGARETTE
The invention discloses a variable-ventilation filter tip and a cigarette. The filter tip includes a filter element and a coating layer. The coating layer wraps the filter element. The filter element includes a smoke inlet end and a smoke release end. A phase-change ventilation area and a non-phase-change ventilation area are arranged on the coating layer, a plurality of first ventilation holes are arranged in the phase-change ventilation area, and a plurality of second ventilation holes are arranged in the non-phase-change ventilation area. Outside air penetrates through the coating layer through the first ventilation holes and the second ventilation holes to enter a part of the filter element. A part in the filter element close to the smoke inlet end is provided with a starch tube. A phase-change material is filled in the first ventilation hole. A phase-change temperature of the phase-change material ranges from 45° C. to 60° C.
INTEGRATED CIGARETTE FILTER
An integrated cigarette filter that can light up, cut and put out a cigarette, hold ash and butts and filter smoke. It comprises upper and lower casings and is characterized by a smoke-collecting hood arranged on the upper casing and an inlet ventilator furnished inside the hood. The hood is snapped onto the upper casing in a detachable manner. The inlet ventilator is fixed to the upper casing with screws and snap-fasteners. The smoking device is inside the upper casing, while the purification device is inside the lower casing. There is a trimming between the upper and lower casings, and the two casings are connected with snap-fasteners. The device can eliminate passive smoking from the source, and directly purify harmful gases and particles in mainstream and sidestream smoke during use, without causing adverse effects or damage to people around smokers.
