The first metering installation serves for feeding an undyed plastic material through a first infeed opening into a housing of the multi-shaft screw extruder, and the second metering installation serves for feeding at least one dyeing agent through a second infeed opening into the housing. In order for the undyed plastic melt to be produced, the plastic material is fed exclusively via the first infeed opening such that residual dyeing agent which is still located in the second metering installation or in the region of the second infeed opening does not contaminate the undyed plastic melt.

The present invention discloses a biaxial or tri-axial eccentric rotor volume pulsed deformation plasticizing method and device. The method is characterized in that: the conveying volume of materials formed between two or three engaged eccentric rotors, which are formed by spiral structures and eccentric cylindrical structures connected alternately, and an inner surface of a stator changes periodically along the axial direction and the radial direction of the rotors, achieving the volume pulsed deformation plasticizing and conveying of the materials during engaged rotation of the two or three engaged eccentric rotors. The device's eccentric rotors are all formed by length-varying spiral structures and eccentric cylindrical structures connected alternately; the spiral structures of the eccentric rotors are engaged to each other; the axial positions of eccentric cylindrical structures of the two or three rotors are the same. The present invention can implement extrusion of polymer materials or implement, in combination with a plunger injection unit, injection molding of polymer materials, and have many features such as desirable mixing and plasticizing effects for materials, a short thermo-mechanical course, low power consumption, and wide adaptability.

Method for Producing Thermally Crosslinkable Polymers in a Planetary Roller Extruder
A method for producing thermally crosslinkable polymers in a planetary roller extruder is presented. The planetary roller extruder has a filling part and a compounding part made of a roller cylinder region that comprises at least two, preferably at least three coupled roller cylinders, planetary spindles of which are driven by a common central spindle. The polymers are supplied in a plasticized state. The filling part is supplied with a vacuum. The flow temperatures of the central spindle and the at least two roller cylinders under a vacuum are set such that the polymers to be degassed remain in the plasticized state. One or more liquids, such as thermal crosslinkers, crosslinking accelerators, dye solutions, or dye dispersions, are metered to the plasticized polymers downstream of the vacuum degassing, preferably in a continuous manner. Finally, the resulting mixture is directly supplied to a coating assembly.

A housing component, for the production of a housing of a multi-shaft screw machine, includes a base body, in which at least two bores interpenetrating each other are configured. The bores extend in a conveying direction through the base body and are limited transversely to the conveying direction by an inner wall. The inner wall configures at least one first wall section and at least one second wall section such that the at least one first wall section is harder than the at least one second wall section. The wall sections, for example, are generated by material application. The housing component allows for a reliable wear protection and a positive influence on the material processing.
SCREW EXTRUDER
A screw extruder for extruding a kneaded material includes a screw and a casing housing the screw and having a material supply port on an upstream side in an extrusion direction of the kneaded material and a tip-side opening on a downstream side in the extrusion direction. A pressure sensor for measuring a pressure inside the casing is provided between a downstream end of the supply port and the tip-side opening of the casing. A rotational speed of the screw is controlled depending on the pressure measured by the pressure sensor.

A twin-screw extrusion kneader includes: two rotating shafts provided side by side in an internal space; a rotational driving portion configured to rotationally drive the rotating shafts; and paddles provided in the rotating shafts and configured to rotate along with the rotating shafts so as to knead a kneading material. Further, the twin-screw extrusion kneader includes movable portions provided as members constituting a part of the housing, the part of the housing including an inner wall surface of the housing, the inner wall surface being opposed to radially outer peripheral surfaces of the paddles. The movable portions can be moved in a direction to approach the paddles and in a direction to be distanced from the paddles. The twin-screw extrusion kneader can control the viscosity of electrode paste by moving the movable portions.

A screw extruder for extruding a kneaded material, includes: a screw; and a casing housing the screw and having a material supply port on an upstream side. The screw has a shaft portion and a helical flight portion provided on an outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion. Regarding a clearance between a top portion of the flight portion and an inner wall surface of the casing, the clearance at a downstream side end of the flight portion is larger than the clearance at a downstream side end of the supply port. No area where the clearance decreases from the upstream side toward the downstream side is present between the downstream side end of the supply port and the downstream side end of the flight portion.
