A device for use while burning smoking material and inhaling the resulting smoke is disclosed. The device can include a filter comprising a filter element having a shaped rim structure and a recess formed in a surface of a body of the filter along a curved face extending from the first end to the second end, the recess extending radially into the body. The smoking accessory can include a capsule containing a flavoring agent disposed within the recess. The device may be received by a first end a tubular member formed to receive a smoking material, that when burned passes smoke into the device.

A smoking article (10) includes an aerosol-generating substrate (12) and a mouthpiece (14) that (i) includes a first hollow tubular segment (24) of elastically deformable material and (ii) is secured to a downstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate; and a second hollow tubular segment (30) adjacent to and upstream of the first hollow tubular segment. The second hollow tubular segment (30) defines a chamber (32) for receiving an insert unit (50). An aerosol generating article includes: an aerosol generating unit including an aerosol generating material; a tobacco filling unit arranged at a downstream end of the aerosol generating unit; a cooling unit arranged at a downstream end of the tobacco filling unit and configured to cool an aerosol; and a thread filter arranged at a downstream end of the cooling unit and including a filter portion and a thread portion which have different flow rates of the aerosol.

The disclosure relates to delivery systems including aerosol-generating material and a cooling agent WS-3 in an amount sufficient to provide a cooling effect. A basic material, an enzymatic material, or combinations thereof is included in the cellulose ester in order to degrade the cellulose ester.

An insert for use with a smokable (e.g., such as a pre-rolled or empty cone) with one or more internal cavities for securing flavor releasing mechanism(s) (e.g., flavored “click balls”) is provided. A flavor delivery article is provided including a substantially rod-shaped carrier element and a wrapping element. The wrapping element surrounds at least a portion of the carrier element. The delivery article includes a flavor material within one or both of the carrier element and the wrapping element. The flavor delivery article is adapted for delivery of the flavor material to the mouth of a user under mouth conditions in the absence of combustion or other external heating.
