PAPER TUBE INCLUDING FLAVORED SHEET AND SMOKING ARTICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a paper tube including a flavored sheet and a smoking article including the same, and more particularly, relates to a paper tube for smoking articles which includes a flavored sheet, which includes a cellulose-based polymer, a plasticizer, and a flavoring material, and which is on an inner surface, an outer surface, or both of the paper tube, and to a smoking article including the same.
Smoking filter
The present disclosure relates to a filter for a smoking device, such as, but not limited to, a water pipe. The filter includes a body that is positionable over a mouthpiece of the smoking device, to filter impurities from smoke drawn therethrough, and a base that secures the body over the mouthpiece such that smoke is drawn therethrough, prior to inhalation by a user. The body can include one of more filtration layers, such as a first layer formed from a material selected to filter carcinogens and other impurities from the smoke prior to inhalation, and a second layer formed from a material selected to minimize or prevent the transmission of bacteria, viruses, or other contagions from a user's mouth to the smoking device. Each of the filtration layers can also be formed from one or more materials.
COOLING FILTER AND SMOKING ARTICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
The disclosure relates to a cooling filter and a smoking article including the same, and more particularly, to a cooling filter having a tubular shape with a hollow formed inside, and a main body portion, in which a coating layer is formed on a surface of the hollow, and the coating layer includes alkaline metal chloride, and a smoking article including the same. By using the filter, a smoking article with an effective cooling function and improved tobacco taste and long-lasting smoke flavor may be provided.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING FRAGRANCE CAPSULE OF TOBACCO
A method for manufacturing a fragrance capsule of tobacco according to an embodiment of this disclosure may comprise: a membrane manufacturing step for manufacturing a membrane of a fragrance capsule by a membrane manufacturing part which manufactures a membrane; a capsule manufacturing step for manufacturing the fragrance capsule using an apparatus for manufacturing a capsule with the membrane manufactured during the membrane manufacturing step and a fragrance liquid to be held in the membrane; and a hardening step for hardening the fragrance capsule.
Combustible smoking filter
An article for use with a smoking device that is configured to be insertable into a chamber defined in the smoking device. The article includes an air-permeable filter member that comprises plant-based material that permits a user to combust a smoking device's contents. Upon combustion of a smoking device's contents, the combustible smoking filter may also combust and be smoked.
NOVEL FILTER SEGMENT INCLUDING A SUBSTRATE LOADED WITH A SMOKE-MODIFYING AGENT
A filter segment for use in a filter of a smoking article includes a substrate loaded with at least one smoke-modifying agent. The substrate is located within the body of the filter segment and is formed from filter plug wrap having an air permeability ranging from about 6,000 Coresta units to about 24,000 Coresta units.
ACTIVE PAPER
A multi-segment filter comprising a first and second filter segment; wherein the first filter segment comprises a longitudinally extending (e.g., substantially cylindrical) core comprising embossed paper filtering material and/or embossed other biodegradable filtering material with a particulate additive embedded therein; and wherein the second filter segment comprises a longitudinally extending (e.g., substantially cylindrical) core comprising paper filtering material or other biodegradable filtering material.
Supported catalyst particles for oxidizing carbon monoxide
A method for oxidizing carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide is provided which utilizes specific supported catalyst particles. The supported catalyst comprises catalyst particles that are supported on particles of an electrically conductive support selected from the group consisting of graphitic carbon and a partially reduced oxide of a transition metal of the Magnli phase selected from the group consisting of titanium, vanadium, zirconium, niobium, molybdenum, and mixtures thereof.
