Aerosol-generating article with narrow hollow tubular filter
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: a substrate portion containing aerosol-forming substrate; and a hollow tubular filter portion having an inner diameter of between 0.5 millimeters and 2 millimeters, and the aerosol-forming substrate including at least one aerosol-former selected from the group consisting of: polyhydric alcohols, esters of polyhydric alcohols, and aliphatic esters of mono-, di-, or polycarboxylic acids. A system for generating an aerosol is also provided, including an aerosol-generating device including a heating chamber and a heating element; and the aerosol-generating article, the aerosol-generating article being configured to be insertable into the heating chamber.
A COMPONENT FOR A DELIVERY SYSTEM AND A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING A COMPONENT FOR A DELIVERY SYSTEM
A component for an article for use in or as an aerosol provision system, including a body having a crimped sheet of cellulose-based material. The crimped sheet of cellulose-based material includes a first region with a first level of crimping and a second region, longitudinally offset from the first region, having a second level of crimping which is different from the first level of crimping. An article including the component, a method for manufacturing the component, and an apparatus configured for manufacturing the component are also described.
SMOKING ARTICLE FILTERS
The present invention relates to improvements in filters for use in smoking articles such as cigarettes, cigars and cigarillos. The improvements, particularly but not exclusively, relate to filter capabilities and to the manufacture of such filters. In one example, a filter for a smoking article comprises a first fibrous filter material having an average fibre denier in the range 7 to 9 and a second fibrous filter material having an average fibre denier of below 7. The application also describes a filter for a smoking article comprising various other filter arrangements including absorbent and/or adsorbent materials.

Disposable Multi-stage Cigarette Holder Filter Apparatus
The present invention discloses a disposable multi-stage cigarette holder filter apparatus, relates to the technical field of production of filter cigarette holders, and solves the problems of high cost, complex preparation process and poor filter effect of existing disposable filter cigarette holders. A composite filter rod, a filter layer, a cooling layer, a smoke dispersing layer, a cigarette holder connector and a cigarette body are sequentially connected from bottom to top into a cylinder structure; an outer packaging paper is arranged outside the cylinder structure; a plurality of air inlets are formed in a surface of the outer packaging paper corresponding to the smoke dispersing layer; and a filter capsule is arranged in the filter layer. The disposable multi-stage cigarette holder filter apparatus reduces the harm of tar and nicotine to smokers by introduction of air and multi-stage filtration, which uses mainly biomass materials wide in source as raw materials.
Method and apparatus for supporting breakable capsule in a conical smoking apparatus
A smoking product and method of making thereof for the consumption of a smokable substance. The product has a hollow conical shape that allows for the easy insertion of smokable substances. Additionally, the conical or frustoconical shape of the product provides for larger amounts of smokable substances in the end of the product the consumer lights, resulting in an initial slower prolonged burn. Additionally, the product includes a supporting filter tip with a frangible capsule contained therein and is packaged for sale in packaging in an unfilled state allowing a user to remove the product from the packaging, fill it with the user's selected custom smokable filler and form a custom smoking product.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE AND AEROSOL-GENERATING SYSTEM
An aerosol-generating article according to various embodiments includes a first segment and a second segment disposed downstream of the first segment, wherein, on the first segment and the second segment, nicotine is adsorbed, and the suction resistance of the first plasticizer may be greater than or equal to the suction resistance of the second plasticizer.
Cigarette and aerosol generating apparatus therefor
A cigarette for an aerosol generating device includes a tobacco rod containing an aerosol generating material; and a cooling rod arranged at one side of the tobacco rod and comprising a hollow extending in a longitudinal direction of the cigarette, wherein a cooling material layer is coated on an inner surface of the cooling rod.
SMOKE FILTER FOR CIGARETTES AND OTHER SMOKING IMPLEMENTS
A smoke filtering apparatus for filtering toxicants from cigarette smoke includes a tube sized and configured to insert into a smoking implement. The tube has a pair of ends, each of which is air permeable such that the tube is configured to permit air through the tube via the pair of ends. A filter is mounted within the tube. The filter comprises a plurality of panels which are coupled to each other at a central axis of the filter. The panels extend radially away from the central axis. Each panel comprises a filtering material configured to attract toxicants from smoke.
Firm filter for aerosol-generating article
An aerosol-generating article (10) includes an aerosol forming substrate (20) and a filter (30) downstream of the substrate. The aerosol-generating article has an average radial hardness of 95.5% or greater when measured around the filter. The filter has a resistance to draw of 70 mmWG or less.
