AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLES SUITABLE FOR USE IN AEROSOL-GENERATING DEVICES

An aerosol-generating article may include: an aerosol-forming substrate; and/or at least one element including at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA). The at least one element may be downstream with respect to the aerosol-forming substrate. An aerosol-generating article may include: an aerosol-forming substrate; a support element immediately downstream of the aerosol-forming substrate; an aerosol-cooling element downstream of the support element; and/or an outer wrapper circumscribing the aerosol-forming substrate, the support element, and the aerosol-cooling element. The aerosol-cooling element may include at least one PHA. A method for quenching reactive oxygen species (ROS) in an aerosol produced by an aerosol-generating article comprising an aerosol-forming substrate may include: providing the aerosol-generating article with at least one element including at least one PHA. The at least one element is downstream with respect to the aerosol-forming substrate.

A filter part (1, 1) for use in an aerosol generating article and a method of manufacturing the filter part (1, 1). The filter part (1, 1) includes an aerosol permeable core extrusion (2) surrounded by a sleeve (3) formed of predominantly linear, axially oriented fibres. The method includes forming two or more strips (4a, 4b) into segments surrounding a conveying path, bringing the segments together into a sleeve former (7) to form the sleeve (3) and introducing an aerosol permeable core extrusion (80) between the segments upstream of the sleeve former (7) and bonding the segments together to form a sleeve surrounding the core extrusion (80), thereby forming a filter rod (9). The filter rod (9) is then cut to form the filter part (1, 1).

CIGARETTE AND AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE FOR CIGARETTE

A cigarette includes a tobacco rod, a front end plug positioned at a front end of the tobacco rod, a filter rod positioned at a rear end of the tobacco rod, and a wrapper surrounding the tobacco rod, the front end plug, and the filter rod and including at least one perforation formed in an area of the wrapper to allow air to flow to the inside of the wrapper.

Electronic gaming system and method of providing progressive jackpot play

A gaming system is provided, including a jackpot server and a gaming server. The jackpot server accumulates respective contributions from gaming client devices into a progressive jackpot. The gaming server presents wagering games to a player on a gaming client device. The wagering games include a first wagering game having a progressive jackpot component, and a second wagering game not having a progressive jackpot component. The gaming server receives a jackpot token from the player, including a token identification associated with the player and a progressive jackpot identification correlating to a token progressive jackpot. A wager is received for the second wagering game, which is conducted such that the player participates in the token progressive jackpot. The gaming server transmits a message to the jackpot server, including a portion of the wager as a contribution to the token progressive jackpot and an outcome of the second wagering game.

AEROSOL GENERATION METHOD AND APPARATUS

Provided is an aerosol generating system including a holder configured to generate aerosol by heating a cigarette; and a cradle including an inner space into which the holder is inserted. The holder is configured to be tiltable with respect the cradle. The holder is inserted into the inner space of the cradle and then tilted to generate the aerosol.

TOBACCO PRODUCT, AND FILTER FOR TOBACCO PRODUCT

This filter for a tobacco product has: a fine-powder-containing article in which there is clumped a raw powder including a taste component and/or an aroma component, the fine-powder-containing article being formed into a powder by the application of force; a cavity in which the fine-powder-containing article is disposed; and a suction port filter part installed downstream of the cavity, the suction port filter part enabling communication between the cavity and an end of a suction port and having formed along the axial direction thereof a fine powder supply path for supplying fine powder from the cavity to the end of the suction port. The fine powder supply path includes a central connection part positioned at the center of a cross-section of the suction port filter part, and a plurality of hole parts extending in mutually different directions from the central connection part toward the outer periphery of the cross-section.
