INTEGRATED INSULATION EXTRUSION AND EXTRUSION TECHNOLOGY FOR WINDOW AND DOOR SYSTEMS
Extruded plastic profiles with integrated insulation, the method for extruding such products, and the windows and doors made with such plastic extrusions. The plastic extrusions may additionally include a low heat build-up capstock system comprising an acrylic cap and pigment system that is substantially IR transparent. The extruded plastic profiles with integrated insulation are recyclable using conventional plastic extrusion process and are fully weldable in conventional window and door manufacturing.
CO-EXTRUSION DIE WITH RECTANGULAR FEED CHANNEL
A body member for an extrusion die for multilayer film has a passage-forming surface and an open feed channel formed in the passage-forming surface. The feed channel continuously decreases in depth from the feed channel inlet, and the feed channel is of substantially constant-width substantially rectangular cross-section along substantially its entire extent. Corners of the feed channel may be slightly rounded. Substantially constant-width feed channels of substantially rectangular cross-section may be used in blown film applications, in which case the feed channel extends in a spiral from the feed channel inlet, and in cast film applications, in which case the feed channel extends substantially linearly from the feed channel inlet. Dies can be assembled by arranging two body members with their respective passage-forming surfaces opposed to one another.
Mold for extrusion molding flexible tube and flexible tube producing apparatus
Provided is a mold capable of shortening the length of a part mixed with resin before and after switching when switching the resin to be extruded onto the surface of a braided wire, and a flexible tube producing apparatus using the same. The mold for extruding the flexible tube includes a linear through hole through which a braided wire inserted from one end is drawn out from the other end, a first resin supply path connected to the through hole and having a flow path parallel to a plane orthogonal to the central axis of the through hole, and a second resin supply path connected to the through hole on the one end side of the through hole relative to the connection point between the first resin supply path and the through hole, and having a flow path parallel to the plane.
