The extruder screw is mounted in the cylindrical barrel, and the screw has an outer surface having one or more helical flights mounted thereon. wherein the inlet end of the cylindrical barrel has a support frame mounted thereto, wherein an upper surface of the support frame is connected to a throat of a hopper, wherein an insert is mounted to the support frame and has a lower end which extends down into the cylindrical barrel, wherein the insert has an internal passageway having a first opening on the lower end and a second opening upstream of the screw for relieving the pressure.
Method for manufacturing pressure-sensitive sensor, pressure-sensitive sensor manufacturing equipment, and pressure-sensitive sensor
A method for manufacturing a pressure-sensitive sensor includes providing an extruder that includes a cylindrical die, a mandrel arranged inside the die and having plural helical grooves on an outer circumferential surface, and an annular outlet sandwiched between the die and the mandrel, and by using the extruder, performing simultaneous extrusion-molding of an elastic insulating material and an elastic conductive material by supplying the elastic conductive material into not less than two of the grooves from the inside of the mandrel while extruding the elastic insulating material, so as to form a pressure-sensitive sensor. The sensor includes a tubular body including an elastic insulation and having a hollow portion along a longitudinal direction, and not less than two conductive ribs including an elastic conductor and helically provided along an inner circumferential surface of the hollow portion of the tubular body so as to protrude inward from the inner circumferential surface.
EXTRUSION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Improvements in the extrusion of thermohardenable materials are achieved by cooling the material in the initial zone of the extruder and reducing residence time by use of a prescribed length to diameter ratio and screw speed, particularly useful for intermittent application during robotically controlled mass production.
MASTERBATCH MANUFACTURING METHOD AND TIRE MANUFACTURING METHOD
A masterbatch manufacturing method in accordance with the present disclosure comprises an operation in which pre-coagulation rubber latex comprising filler is coagulated to obtain a coagulum; an operation in which the coagulum is dewatered; and an operation in which the dewatered coagulum is plasticized as it is dried by means of an extruder; wherein, during the operation in which the dewatered coagulum is plasticized as it is dried, the coagulum comprises a peptizing agent.
Multi-shaft kneading machine
A multi-shaft kneading machine includes a channel and two screws rotatable around first axes of rotation. A pair of gate rods sandwich the two screws and are rotatable around second axes of rotation. Each of the pair of gate rods has two recess parts that form respective spaces through which the two screws penetrate. Each of the pair of gate rods has a first contact surface, which comes into surface contact with a screw when a gate rod is rotated to a minimum degree-of-opening position. Large diameter parts are fitted into the groove of the cylinder, and a small diameter part have a radius of curvature equal to half a distance between two second axes of rotation and smaller than a radius of curvature of the large diameter parts. The small diameter parts of the pair of gate rods are in contact with each other.
EXTRUDER
An extruder includes a cylinder and a screw that is accommodated in the cylinder, in which an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder includes first and second groove formed regions each of which has a groove formed therein, in the first groove formed region, a height of a mountain portion forming the groove is constant, and a presence range of the second groove formed region in an axial direction at least partially overlaps a presence range of a material feed port in the axial direction, and a height of a mountain portion forming the groove in the second groove formed region is lower than the height of the mountain portion of the first groove formed region.
Method for processing products in an extruder
The invention relates to the production of PSA in a planetary gear extruder. During filling and after passing a passage on a dispersing ring using a lateral arm extruder, the products are degassed.
HOUSING COMPONENT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A HOUSING OF A MULTI-SHAFT SCREW MACHINE AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A HOUSING COMPONENT
A housing component, for the production of a housing of a multi-shaft screw machine, includes a base body, in which at least two bores interpenetrating each other are configured. The bores extend in a conveying direction through the base body and are limited transversely to the conveying direction by an inner wall. The inner wall configures at least one first wall section and at least one second wall section such that the at least one first wall section is harder than the at least one second wall section. The wall sections, for example, are generated by material application. The housing component allows for a reliable wear protection and a positive influence on the material processing.
RUBBERY POLYMER EXTRUSION DRYER, METHOD OF DRYING RUBBERY POLYMER, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING RUBBERY POLYMER
A rubbery polymer extrusion dryer includes: a cylinder; a liner provided on an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder; a screw rotatably arranged in the liner; wherein the rubbery polymer extrusion dryer conveys a rubbery polymer by the screw rotating in the liner, wherein a plurality of grooves extending in a conveying direction of the rubbery polymer are formed on an inner surface of the liner, and wherein widths of the grooves are 0.1 mm or more and 2 mm or less.
