MOLD BASE PROVIDED WITH A CENTRAL MOVABLE INSERT
A method for producing a container provided with a base, in a mold that includes a base with a base block with a raised molding face and a central opening, and an insert mounted in the central opening. The insert has an end face with the imprint of a central area of the base of the container, movable between: a retracted position with the end face extending in the extension of the molding face, thus completing therewith the imprint of the base of the container; a protruding position with the insert protruding relative to the central opening. A step of boxing the central area of the base of the container includes moving the insert to the protruding position to exert pressure against the central area of the base and increase the clearance of the central area relative to the clearance at the end of the blowing.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COUPLING AND UNCOUPLING MEDIA COUPLINGS ON THE BASE MOULD
Apparatus (1) for reshaping plastic preforms (10) into plastic containers (20) has a blow moulding device (14) which has at least two side parts (14a, 14b) and a base mould (14c) which form a hollow space inside which the plastic preforms (10) are reshaped into the plastic containers (20), wherein the apparatus has a changing device (40) which is suitable and intended either to remove the complete blow moulding device (14) or only parts (14a, 14b, 14c) of the blow moulding device (14) from the blow mould supports (16) thereof and/or to arrange them on the blow mould supports (16), wherein the base mould (14c) is arranged on a base mounting (19), and in a changing mode, through a lifting movement (H) and in particular a lifting and/or lowering of the base mounting (19), the base mould (14c) can be connected to the base mounting (19) or can be disconnected from the base mounting (19), and between the base mounting (19) and the base mould (14c) at least one first disconnectable media connection (21) is provided, by means of which a flowable medium can be supplied to the base mould (14c) and/or by means of which the flowable medium can be discharged from the base mould (14c). According to the invention the media connection (21) between the base mounting (19) and the base mould (14c) can also be made and/or can be broken by the lifting and/or lowering of the base mounting (19).
AUTOMATIC CHANGE OF BLOW MOULD
Apparatus (1) for transforming plastic preforms (10) to form plastic containers (20) with a plurality of blow moulding stations (8), wherein these blow moulding stations (8) each have a blow moulding device (14) which consists of two blow mould halves and a base mould, and wherein the blow moulding device in each case forms a cavity inside which the plastic preforms (10) can be transformed to form the plastic containers (20), and which is releasably arranged indirectly or directly on blow mould supports (16), wherein each blow moulding device has at least one temperature control device (30) with at least one electrical heating element (32) for temperature control of at least some regions of the blow moulding device (14). According to the invention the apparatus (1) has at least one electrical connection (34) which can be automatically released and/or automatically made between at least one electrical heating element (32) and the blow moulding station (8).
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OPERATING MEDIA COUPLINGS ON A BLOW MOULD
Apparatus (1) for transforming plastic parisons (10) to plastic containers (20) with a transport device (2) which transports the plastic parisons (10) along a predetermined transport path, wherein the transport device (2) has a movable station support (12) arranged at least indirectly on a stationary base support (6) on which a plurality of transforming stations (8) is arranged, wherein these transforming stations (8) each have blow mould devices (14) which each form cavities within which the plastic parisons (10) can be transformed into the plastic containers (20) and these blow mould devices (14) are each disposed on blow mould supports (16), wherein the apparatus (1) has a changing device (40) which is suitable and intended at least to remove the blow moulding devices (14) from their blow mould supports (16) and/or to arrange blow moulding devices (14) on the blow mould supports (16), wherein this changing device (40) has at least one gripping device for gripping the blow moulding device (14), wherein the gripping device is suitable for selectively changing a complete blow moulding device (14) or only parts (14a, 14b, 14c) of the blow moulding device (14), wherein the reshaping station (8) and in particular the blow moulding device (14) has at least one channel (60) for conveying a flowable medium as well as at least one coupling device (62) which can be separated from the channel (60). According to the invention the changing device (40) is suitable and intended to separate and/or to connect the coupling device (62) and/or to break and/or to make a flow connection between the channel (60) and the coupling device (62).
Blow moulding machine with automatically actuated base coupling
Apparatus for transforming plastic parisons into plastic containers includes a transforming station having a blow mould within which plastic parisons can be expanded by application of a gaseous medium. The blow mould has a base part arranged releasably on a support. The transforming station has at least one first connector for supplying a flowable temperature control medium to the transforming station, and this supply of the temperature control medium can be disconnected via the connector. The fastening mechanism has a release element which is movable in a predetermined straight direction. By displacement of this release element into a first predetermined position fastening of the base part on the support is releasable and by a displacement of this release element into a second predetermined position the base part can be fastened on the support.
Plastic container having a movable base
A plastic container comprises an upper portion including a finish defining an opening into the container, a lower portion including a base defining a standing surface, a sidewall extending between the upper portion and the lower portion, the sidewall defining a longitudinal axis, and at least one substantially transversely-oriented pressure panel located in the lower portion. The pressure panel is movable between an outwardly-inclined position and an inwardly-inclined position to compensate for a change of pressure inside the container. The standing surface defines a standing plane, and the entire pressure panel is located between the standing plane and the upper portion of the container when the pressure panel is in the outwardly-inclined position.
Mold bottom with wide air vents for the forming of a container
Mold bottom for the manufacture by blow molding of a container that has a bottom that is equipped with a seat, with this mold bottom including a unit that has a molding face bearing the at least partial impression of the bottom of the container, with a pressure-release air vent being formed in the unit and emptying out, via an inner opening, on the molding face and, via an outer opening, into a pipe for exposure to air, with this mold bottom also including an insert that is provided with at least one projection housed in the air vent and that has a terminal face bearing the impression of at least one part of the seat of the container, with this insert being provided with an inner circuit for heat regulation of the projection and being mounted to move in relation to the unit.
Lightweight container base
A mold system for forming a container having a longitudinal axis and a transverse direction that extends transverse to the longitudinal axis. The mold system includes a sidewall system for molding the sidewall portion of the container. The mold system also includes a base system for molding the base portion of the container. The base system is operable for forming the entire base portion of the container including a central pushup portion, a contact surface for supporting the container, and at least one strap extending along the base portion in the transverse direction. The strap defines a strap surface that is spaced offset in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis from the contact surface. The strap surface extends in the transverse direction to be adjacent the sidewall portion such that the at least one strap surface is visible from a side of the container.
BOTTLE WITH AN ENHANCED BOTTOM
A bottle having good mechanical properties and lightness due to its bottom design includes a bottom, a body, and a neck. The bottom has a dome, a coronal arch, an annular seat, a side wall, six main radial grooves, five secondary radial grooves situated between the main grooves, each having an end Ev in the arch, and a peripheral end Ep in the side wall. The bottom is such that the ratio Mf/Vuf, wherein Mf is the weight of the bottom and Vuf is the useful volume of the bottom, is less than or equal to 0.050 g/mL and the ratio ?.sup.do/H.sup.do, wherein ?.sup.do is the diameter of the dome at its base and H.sup.do is its apex height along an axis Z, is greater than or equal to 4.4. The invention also relates to a manufacturing method and a mold for the bottle.
Aseptic filling method and aseptic filling machine
Even when the filling speed increases, the surface temperature of a molded bottle falls within a constant range, and a sterilizer adequately sterilizes the bottle. A preform is heated, the heated preform is sealed in a mold, the preform sealed in the mold is blow-molded into a bottle, the surface temperatures of a neck portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion of the molded bottle are measured, and the mold temperatures of a neck portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion of the mold is so adjusted that the measured surface temperature of the bottle falls within a specified temperature range.
