Method for transferring a negative structure of a surface of an inner wall of a blow molding tool, and plastic container

A method for transferring a negative structure of a surface of an inner wall (51) of a blow molding tool (1) onto a surface of a plastic container. The method comprises the steps of heating at least one region (511) of a mold cavity (6) of a molding body (4) of the blow molding tool (1), on which the negative structure is formed, inserting a preform into the mold cavity (6), closing the blow molding tool (1), molding the plastic container by inflating the preform and bringing the preform to lie against the inner wall (51) of the mold cavity (6), cooling the region (511) by supplying a coolant through temperature control channels (54), and removing the plastic container from the mold.

Method for producing a plastic article and blow molding tool

The invention relates to a method for producing a plastic article and a blow molding tool for performing the method. The method comprises extruding an approximately tube-shaped preform, dividing the melt flow within the extrusion head or separating the extrudate exiting or already exited from the extrusion head, such that a preform having an approximately C-shaped cross section is obtained, forming the preform into a hollow part within a multipart blow molding tool using differential pressure, wherein an expansion and partial preforming of the preform first takes place with the blow molding tool partially closed, then in a further step at least one insert is inserted into the interior of the partially preformed article between the not completely closed blow molding tool and through the open side of the preform, and in a further step the blow molding tool is completely closed, wherein the article is completely formed, forming at least one at least partially circumferential pinch-off seam.

Blow molding tool for a blow molding machine

The invention relates to a blow molding tool for a blow molding machine for producing plastic containers in an extrusion or stretch blow-molding process. The blow molding tool comprises two blow mold halves, each of which comprises at least one molding body in which at least one mold cavity is disposed, and a baseplate that receives said molding body. An insulation block consisting of a thermally insulating material is arranged between the molding body and the baseplate and, optionally, further components of the blow mold halves.

UNIT FOR MOULDING CONTAINERS PROVIDED WITH AN OFFSET RADIATOR AND AN INTEGRATED TEMPERATURE PROBE

A molding unit for producing a container, that includes: a mold having the footprint of the container, including a pair of shells each having an inner wall; a pair of shell holders onto each of which a shell is removably attached; a device for controlling the temperature of the mold, that includes: at least one radiator integrated into a shell holder, at least one temperature probe integrated into a shell, for measuring the temperature in the vicinity of the inner wall, a variator connected to the temperature probe and to the radiator, the variator being arranged to modulate the temperature of the radiator depending on the temperature measured by the probe.

METHODS, ASSEMBLIES, SYSTEMS, AND INTERMEDIATE STAGE PRE-ASSEMBLY MULTI-CHAMBER CONTAINERS TO MAKE A MULTI-CHAMBER CONTAINER

Method to manufacture a container includes disposing a first parison within a first mold assembly having a first inner surface defining a first mold chamber. The first mold assembly includes at least one first insert disposed on the first inner surface within the first mold chamber. The first parison is blow molded to form a first container body within the first mold chamber, wherein at least one first portion of the first container body corresponding to the at least one first insert has a first portion temperature greater than a remaining portion of the first container body. The at least one first portion of the first container body can be contacted to at least one second portion of a second container body to attach the first and second container bodies. Assemblies, systems, and intermediate stage pre-assembly multi-chamber containers are also disclosed, as well as multi-chamber containers formed from the same.

A container defining a longitudinal axis and a transverse direction that is transverse with respect to the longitudinal axis. The container includes a finish and a sidewall portion extending from the finish. A plurality of ribs are defined by the sidewall. A base portion extends from the sidewall portion and encloses the sidewall portion to form a volume therein for retaining a commodity. The base portion has a contact surface for supporting the container. A plurality of straps extend radially along the base portion away from the longitudinal axis in the transverse direction, each one of the straps defines a strap surface that is closer to the finish than the contact surface. The plurality of ribs and the base portion are configured to place the container in a state of hydraulic charge-up when top load is applied to the container after the container is filled.
