Fiberglass pipe jointing methods and systems
A system of jointing reinforced thermosetting resin (RTR) pipe, including: a first RTR pipe with a spigot portion, the spigot portion having a first joining surface; a second RTR pipe with a socket portion shaped to receive the spigot portion, the socket portion having a second joining surface; and a cavity between the first joining surface and the second joining surface, the cavity formed when the spigot portion is push-fit into the socket portion; and an injectable/curable material located in the cavity. Additionally, a method of jointing RTR pipe, including the steps of: push-fitting a spigot portion of a first pipe into a socket portion of a second pipe, forming a cavity between the spigot portion and the socket portion; injecting a joining compound into the cavity; and curing the joining compound.
Pipe fusion machine
One fusion machine can butt or socket fuse polyolefin pipes and fittings in straight alignment or at inwardly or outwardly mitered universal angles from 0 to 45 for butt fusion and from 0 to 10 for socket fusion. The machine is manually driven, hydraulically monitored and operated in all configurations from one side of the machine.
PROCESSING APPARATUS FOR ELONGATED STRUCTURE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR ELONGATED STRUCTURE
An apparatus for processing an elongated structure includes a mold within which an uncross-linked rubber material is placed, at least one heating unit configured to heat the mold, and a pressure device configured to press the rubber material using the mold heated by the heating unit to promote shaping the rubber material by the mold while proceeding the cross-linking of the rubber material. The heating unit includes a central heating device configured to heat a longitudinal central portion of the mold, multiple cooling devices configured to cool two longitudinal end portions of the mold, multiple intermediate heating devices configured to heat two intermediate portions between the longitudinal central portion and the longitudinal end portions of the mold, heat shield plates disposed between the central heating device and the intermediate heating devices, and heat shield plates disposed between the cooling devices and the intermediate heating devices.
Machine for sealing plastic profiled elements
The machine (1) for sealing plastic profiled elements comprises: a base frame (6); a pair of retention members (7, 8), adapted to retain respective plastic profiled elements (P) having respective areas to seal (Z) with a first main edge (2a), a second main edge (3a), a first lateral edge (4a) and a second lateral edge (5a); a heat-sealing element with heated plate (11); sliding means (9, 10) of the retention members (7, 8); removing means (13, 14) adapted to remove material from the areas to seal (Z) at least at the first lateral edges (4a); lateral containment means (23, 24), which are adapted to abut on the areas to seal (Z) at the first lateral edges (4a) for the containment of a lateral sealing bead (S) and which comprise at least a V-shaped element (23) having two sides (25) arranged in a V pattern which are adapted to abut on at least a portion of respective first lateral faces (4) of the profiled elements (P).
Glass lens assembly with an elastic adhesive
A lens assembly, and a method for providing a lens assembly is disclosed herein. The lens assembly includes a first frame piece with a first edge on the direction in which a viewer of the electronic display would face, the first edge forming a first angle with a second edge; a second frame piece with a third edge on the direction in which a viewer of the electronic display would face, the third edge forming a second angle with a fourth edge; a lens with a first lens edge facing the viewer, a second lens edge and third lens edge connected to the first lens edge and forming a lens angle; a first adhesive layer placed between the second edge and the second lens edge to attach the first frame piece to the lens; and a second adhesive layer placed between the fourth edge and the third lens edge to attach the second frame piece to the lens.
Connector and tubing assembly and method of molding connector and tubing assembly
An overmolding method for forming joints in a fluid-flow apparatus utilizes a connector or fitting as a component for mold forming. The connector or fitting is not removed after the overmolding and thus forms part of the joint assembly.
HIGH SPEED AND NO EXCESS WELD FLASH VINYL WELDER
An apparatus for manufacturing rectangular frames of plastic material includes an apparatus frame and welding heads. A material clamp cooperates with an associated frame member to hold the associated frame member in a desired location during a frame assembly operation. A heat plate is movably attached to each welding head. The heat plate can be selectively positioned to an operating position. The material clamp positions the associated frame member in close proximity to the heat plate to heat a set of ends of the associated frame member utilizing only radiation and convection of heat developed by the heat plate. The plurality of welding heads exert pressure on adjoining associated frame members after the heat plate is removed from the operating position in order to weld the adjoining associated frame members together to form a rectangular frame.
Vitrine and method for making a vitrine
A method of joining panels for a vitrine is disclosed. The ends of the panels to be joined are mitered cut and bonded with a suitable adhesive providing adequate adhesion and transparency. The joints are formed to provide a wedge-shape bond gap sufficient to allow application of the adhesive from the outside of the gap through capillary action. The adhesive may be catalyzed or ultraviolet- or light-hardened.
