Method of producing high-pressure tank, and high-pressure tank
A method of producing a high-pressure tank including a liner and a reinforcement layer made of fiber-reinforced resin includes a process of forming at least a domed member included in the reinforcement layer. The process includes placing first fiber bundles to form a part of a protruding portion and a part of a domed main body, and placing second fiber bundles to cover the first fiber bundles. The first fiber bundles are placed, such that a fiber direction of the first fiber bundles in the protruding portion follows an axial direction of the protruding portion, and resin with which the fiber bundles are impregnated is solidified while the first fiber bundles are being placed. The second fiber bundles are placed, such that the fiber direction of the second fiber bundles intersects with the fiber direction of the first fiber bundles.
Connection arrangement and method for welding a first plastic component to a second plastic component
A connection arrangement includes a first plastic component, a second plastic component, and a closed induction ring. The first plastic component has a first joining region designed as a receptacle, and at one end, the second plastic component has a second joining region introduced into the first joining region. At the joining regions, the induction ring is at least partially fused into the two plastic components such that at one contact region between a first plastic melt of the first plastic component and a second plastic melt of the second plastic melt, a material-conclusive connection is generated. In this case, the induction ring is melted into the first plastic component while forming at least one first undercut, and is melted into the second plastic component while forming at least one second undercut such that between the plastic components and the induction ring, one each form-fitting connection is created.
Processing apparatus for elongated structure and manufacturing method for elongated structure
An apparatus for processing an elongated structure includes a mold within which an uncross-linked rubber material is placed, at least one heating unit configured to heat the mold, and a pressure device configured to press the rubber material using the mold heated by the heating unit to promote shaping the rubber material by the mold while proceeding the cross-linking of the rubber material. The heating unit includes a central heating device configured to heat a longitudinal central portion of the mold, multiple cooling devices configured to cool two longitudinal end portions of the mold, multiple intermediate heating devices configured to heat two intermediate portions between the longitudinal central portion and the longitudinal end portions of the mold, heat shield plates disposed between the central heating device and the intermediate heating devices, and heat shield plates disposed between the cooling devices and the intermediate heating devices.
Noise damper bonded to tire using adhesives
The invention relates to a tire comprising a circumferential tread having an outer tread surface and an inner innerliner surface; at least two spaced-apart beads; sidewall portions extending between the tread and the beads; and a belt-like foam noise damper having first and second terminal ends, wherein the noise damper lines the innerliner surface; wherein the noise damper is secured to the innerliner surface via an adhesive situated between the noise damper and the innerliner, wherein the terminal ends of the noise damper are cut at an angle of less than 90 degrees, overlap each other, and the overlapped second terminal end of the foam is joined to the first terminal end by the adhesive present underneath the second terminal end, and wherein the adhesive has weight in the range of 30 to 800 grams per square meter of foam surface.
High speed welder
A welder for constructing and welding plastic fenestration structures, including parts storage bins structured to store and support parts to be assembled to create the plastic fenestration structures; wheels that receive the parts from the parts storage bins; aligners that position the parts relative to one another; heating plates that apply heat to ends of the parts thereby rendering at least a portion of the ends of the parts molten; parts shifters operably shiftable between a first position adjacent the wheels and a second position remotely located from the wheels that shift the parts to a fusing position in which adjacent parts are abutted together at a fusing station to produce the plastic fenestration structure; and at least one cooling station at which the plastic fenestration structure is held.
Laser welded body and method for manufacturing same
Provided is a laser welded body which can be manufactured without undergoing complicated steps and maintain the characteristics of a resin contained in a resin member, which exhibits high welding strength even when scanned with a laser beam at a high speed, and which can be manufactured at high production efficiency. The laser welded body 10 comprises a first resin member 1 which is a laser-irradiated subject which contains a thermoplastic resin and nigrosine sulfate and has an absorbance a.sub.1 of 0.09 to 0.9; and a second resin member 2 which contains a thermoplastic resin as the same kind as or different kind from the thermoplastic resin and a laser beam absorbent, and has an absorbance a.sub.2 of 3.0 to 15, wherein the first resin member 1 and the second resin member 2 are laser-welded at a part at which the both resin members are overlapped and/or butted.
Methods of joining and repairing composite components
A first thermoplastic component and a second thermoplastic component including a first joint portion and a second joint portion, respectively, are provided. A least a portion of a surface area of each of the first and second joint portions include a respective first and second mating surface. The first and second mating surfaces of the respective first and second joint portions are positioned in contact with one another. The first and second joint portions are fusion joined. Fusion joining the first and second joint portions forms a fused unitary portion of the first and second thermoplastic components.
METHOD OF PRODUCING HIGH-PRESSURE TANK, AND HIGH-PRESSURE TANK
