A machine (1) and a method for thermobonding using an emission of electromagnetic waves (13), for example microwaves, to activate one or a plurality of adhesive layers located between a support and one or a plurality of layers of flexible covering, through a bed of particles (4) fluidized by a humidified gas. A multi-layer upholstery item including at least one non-permeable layer and produced in a single operation is also described.
Method and apparatus for making bags
A machine and method for making bags is described and includes a web traveling from an input section to a rotary drum, to an output section. The rotary drum includes at least one seal bar, having a first sealing zone, and an adjacent weakening zone. The weakening zone may be a heated perforator, includes a heating wire, or be disposed to create an auxiliary sealed area. The heating wire can have connected thereto, a source of power that is an adjustable voltage or magnitude, and/or pulsed, and/or a feedback loop. The heating wire ay be an NiCr wire and make intermittent contact with the web and be disposed in an insert. The weakening zone may create a line of weakness that is uniform or varies in intensity, is a separating zone, or includes a heat film, a toothed blade, a row of pins, a source of air, or a source of vacuum. The sealing zones ma include temperature zones, cartridge heaters, cooling air, or hated air, or a source of ultrasonic, microwave or radiative energy.
Laser welded body
Regarding a laser welded body in which a laser transmissive/absorptive molding member containing a PBT-based material and a laser absorptive molding member containing a PBT-based material are integrated with each other by laser welding, the following laser welded body is proposed as a laser welded body in which a bond strength can be further increased. A laser welded body having a structure in which a member I and a member II are integrally bonded to each other, the member I contains 0.0005 to 5.0 parts by mass, with respect to 100 parts by mass of a polyester-based resin A, of a laser transmissive/absorptive coloring material capable of transmitting and absorbing laser beam, and the polyester-based resin A contains at least a polybutylene terephthalate copolymer resin, the member II contains 0.15 to 10.00 parts by mass, with respect to 100 parts by mass of a polyester-based resin B, of a laser absorptive coloring material not transmitting but capable of absorbing laser beam, and the polyester-based resin B contains (B1) a homo PBT, (B2) a homo PBT-based mixed resin containing a homo PBT, or (B3) a copolymerized PBT-based mixed resin containing a copolymerized PBT.
Motor device and method for producing same
A wide section 71d which contacts a connector member and positions the connector member relative to a connector housing part is provided in a section where a first securing part 71b of a cover member 70 is provided and is configured so as to be wider than the other parts of the section where the first securing part 71b of the cover member 70 is provided; hence, it is possible to use the wide section 71d in the pressing section (pressing point OP) of an extrusion pin. As a result, it is possible to suppress distortion of the cover member 70 and to sufficiently smooth the welded section (first securing part 71b) of the cover member 70 even when the shape of the cover member 70 is complicated.
Welding method
A method for welding a first hose end at a joint with a second hose end in a seam that extends on a circumference of the first hose end, the method comprising the steps: applying a protective layer at the joint to an inside of the first hose end; pushing the second hose end beyond the joint over the first hose end; pressing the first hose end and the second hose end together flat at the joint between two first damping jaws that are moved towards each other; welding the first hose end and the second hose end together by two first partial seams while pressed together, wherein the protective layer prevents a welding of the inside of the first hose end; releasing the first hose end and the second hose end from the two first clamping jaws after welding the two first partial seams.
LASER WELDING APPARATUS AND LASER PROCESSING DEVICE
A first resin member including a first contact surface and formed of laser beam-transmissive resin and a second resin member including a second contact surface, which contacts the first contact surface, and formed of laser beam-absorbing resin are arranged one upon the other. A laser welding apparatus includes a clamping unit abutting the second resin member and applying clamping force to the second resin member, a laser emitter emitting laser beam, a laser controller controlling output of the laser beam, a displacement sensor measuring displacement of the second contact surface in stacking direction of the resin members, and a control unit controlling the clamping unit to adjust the clamping force corresponding to displacement amount of the second contact surface continuously or intermittently obtained from the displacement sensor.
