Smoking stent for cigar or filterless cigarette
A smoking stent that is inserted into a wrapped smoking product to create a smoking assembly. The presence of the stent prevents the end of the wrapped smoking product from losing integrity when made wet by the mouth. The stent device has a tubular body that defines a central conduit. Side openings are disposed along the tubular body that provide access to the central conduit. The stent device is inserted within the mouth end of the wrapped smoking product so that the central conduit of the tubular body extends into the fill. When the wrapped smoking product is lighted, the smoke is drawn out of the wrapped smoking device through the central conduit of the stent device.
AEROSOL-GENERATING DEVICE FOR USE WITH AN AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE
An aerosol-generating device for an aerosol-generating article is provided, the device including: a receiving chamber to removably receive the article and having an inner surface and a center axis, along which the inner surface includes first and second axial portions, and an intermediate axial portion between the first and the second axial portions, the first and the second axial portions including a plurality of first and second protrusions, respectively, to contact first and second support elements of the article, respectively, and to retain the article in the chamber, the pluralities extending in a direction towards the center axis beyond the intermediate axial portion, the intermediate axial portion having a length of at least 20% of an overall length of the inner surface or of the chamber in the direction of the center axis and to surround a substrate element of the article when the article is received in the chamber.
SMOKING DEVICE AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
The presently disclosed subject matter is generally directed to a device that can be used for smoking a smokable product (such as tobacco). Particularly, the device includes a housing, cap, tube, and retainer. The housing and cap cooperate to provide a closed interior for burning an associated smokable product. The retainer functions to releasably attach the product (e.g., a cigarette) to one end of the tube. The tube passes through an opening in the cap such that a first portion of the tube is housed within the device interior and a second portion is positioned exterior to the device. The smokable product is burned within the interior of the device, and the user has access to the smoke produced by inhaling through the tube.

PIERCING DEVICE FOR INHALER ARTICLE
A piercing device (150) contains a recessed piercing element (160) and is configured to receive a distal end (118) of an inhaler article (110). The piercing element pierces or punctures a single hole into a capsule contained within the inhaler article when the inhaler article is seated into an inhaler article cavity (157) of the piercing device. The piercing device includes a marking element (170) extending into the inhaler article cavity from the housing inner surface (152). The marking element is configured to mark an outer surface of an inhaler device when the inhaler device is received within the inhaler article cavity. The marking element extends orthogonally to the piercing element longitudinal axis.
