Fiber-reinforced resin hollow body and method for manufacturing same
A fiber-reinforced resin hollow body includes an axial-direction fiber layer containing reinforcing fibers aligned parallel to an axial direction of the hollow body, and a non-axial-direction fiber layer provided on top of at least one of an internal and an external side of the axial-direction fiber layer, and containing reinforcing fibers oriented in a direction different from a direction in which the reinforcing fibers contained in the axial-direction fiber layer are aligned. The non-axial-direction fiber layer has end portions in a peripheral direction of the hollow body, the end portions overlapping each other.

Production method for a pultruded article
A method for producing a pultruded article includes: a step in which an activation sheet having a sliding surface capable of sliding with the inner surface of a mold is arranged on the surface of an intermediate molded article comprising reinforcing fibers that are impregnated with a thermosetting resin and the intermediate molded article and the activation sheet are introduced into a mold together; and a step in which a pultruded article generated by heating and hardening the intermediate molded article in the mold is pultruded together with the activation sheet from the mold.
METHOD AND RESIN IMPREGNATING DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A REINFORCING BAR
A resin impregnating device (1) is used in a method for producing a reinforcing bar and has a chamber for holding a liquid thermoplastic resin. A plurality of guide plates (4A-4C) is arranged in the chamber along a traveling direction of a plurality of strands of reinforcing fiber material (Fb). Through holes (41) in two of the guide plates (4A, 4C) guide or spread the strands of the reinforcing fiber material Fb away from each other, and a single through hole (42) in an intermediate one of the guide plates (4B) guides or converges all the strands of the reinforcing fiber material (Fb) towards each other.
METHOD FOR PREPARING A PULTRUDED POLYURETHANE COMPOSITE
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a pultruded polyurethane composite by a polyurethane pultrusion process, a pultruded polyurethane composite prepared by said method, and uses thereof. The method for preparing a pultruded polyurethane composite of the present invention employs short molds, improves production efficiency and saves costs.
METHOD FOR MAKING UNIDIRECTIONAL CONTINUOUS FIBER-REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE MATERIAL
Disclosed herein a method for making a unidirectional continuous fiber-reinforced resin composite material. A resin plasticized and molten by an extruder is transported to a coating guide roller through a die head, and a hot-melt resin film layer with uniform thickness is formed on a roller surface of the coating guide roller. Simultaneously, the coating guide roller guides the hot-melt resin to continuously and uniformly coat on a row of flattened unidirectional continuous fibers along the roller surface of the coating guide roller. Subsequently, the coated flattened unidirectional continuous fibers pass through an open dip-coating roller device to effectively combine with the hot-melt resin to obtain a composite material of the hot-melt resin and fibers, which passes through a cooling and forming device to a winder under a driving force of a main traction to obtain the unidirectional continuous fiber-reinforced resin composite material.
Pultrusion processes for producing fiber reinforced polyurethane compositions and polyurethane-forming reaction mixtures suitable for use in such processes
Pultrusion processes for producing fiber reinforced polyurethane composites are described. The processes utilize a polyurethane-forming reaction mixture comprises a chelated organometallic/metalorganic catalyst. Polyurethane-forming reaction mixtures suitable for use in such processes are also described.
BASALT FIBER COMPOSITE REBAR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
A basalt fiber composite rebar and method of manufacturing the same that includes producing an elongated body with an outer surface, two opposing terminal ends, a longitudinal length separating the two opposing terminal ends of the elongated body, of an epoxy matrix having a plurality of longitudinally oriented and twisted basalt fibers independently embedded and bonded therein and continually spanning along the longitudinal length, and a basalt fiber overlay directly coupled to the outer surface of the elongated body in a spiral configuration to define a plurality of fiber ribs spatially displaced from one another along the longitudinal length.
