The apparatus includes: a conveyance directional processing part for performing processing along the conveyance direction onto the sheet, the conveyance directional processing part being constructed such that at the same position in the conveyance direction, a plurality of processing machines of two or more types are aligned in a width direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction and provided in a freely attachable and detachable manner; a condition input part through which processing conditions in the conveyance directional processing part are inputted; a display part for displaying the processing conditions; and a processing machine selection control part for acquiring types and arrangement of the processing machines to be provided in the conveyance directional processing part such that the processing conditions may be satisfied and then displaying the acquired types and arrangement on the display part.

The aim of the invention is to shape a flat web material (12) into a constant three-dimensional structure with a plurality of folds along differently oriented folding lines and with elevations and depressions. This is achieved in that the flat web material is inserted between a lower holding die (20b) and an upper holding die (20a), which are largely flat, consist of a flat material, and have pre-shaped bending lines that lie over one another in a precise manner when lying against the flat web material. A lower (30b) and an upper molding die (30a) are then guided thereto and brought into position, said molding dies consisting of a flat material with specified folding lines which oppose one another in a precise manner. The molding dies (30a, 30b) have a shape corresponding to the three-dimensional structure to be produced, and the molding die folding lines oriented towards the holding dies or pointing towards the holding dies match the bending lines of the holding dies, wherein the folding lines can lie against the holding dies.

A System for Adjusting Positions of Rollers in An Outsert Making Machinery

The present invention relates to a system (100) for adjusting positions of rollers in an outsert making machinery. There are frequent manual errors in existing outsert-making machinery during adjustment of grooving rollers. The system (100) includes an input interface (30) which receives input data regarding geometrical parameters of a strip (13) and final outsert (16) which sends data to a processor (50) configured in a workstation (40). The processor calculates an output data in the form of geometrical details of the grooving rollers (21) and positions of the grooving rollers (21) on grooving shaft(s) (22) and displays the output data on a display (60). Based on data displayed, an operator can manually adjust the positions of the grooving rollers (21) or the workstation (40) actuates a mechanism (70) to adjust grooving rollers (21) and a control unit (80) to adjust operational parameters of folding units (14a, 14b).
