Manufacturing signage assemblies, systems, and devices are shown and described. Recyclable signage intended for outdoor use may include a medium with a coated unactivated striped front and rear face, an adjacent liner sheet, and wherein the fluted medium and the liner are adhered with an adhesive to form the signage.

A corrugated pizza box is made using a web fed rotary die cutter with the web produced by a corrugator singlefacer that is speed synchronized with the rotary die cutter. The singlefacer produces SemiCorr Singleface Board (SSB) made possible by special corrugating rolls that allow a bottom liner to be bonded to a fluted and creased medium or liner within the singlefacer. This medium or liner has cross flute bond lines that provide in-line stiffness to the two-ply board exiting the singlefacer.

A method for manufacturing a three-dimensionally deformed plate made of a wood fiber material comprises providing a prefabricated, flat wood fiber material plate as the original plate, preheating the original plate in sections, wetting the preheated section of the original plate with an atomized liquid mixture of water and a separating agent, introducing a section of the original plate that is preheated and wetted with a liquid mixture of water and a separating agent between two rollers of a molding station, wherein the rollers respectively provide a corrugated profile in the peripheral direction of the external surface, such that the original plate is being deformed in sections into a plate with a wave shape, wherein rollers are being used, the respective profiling of which has half-waves which follow one another in the peripheral direction and which at least partially have a different extension in the peripheral direction.

A apparatus for creating corrugated cardboard (20) in particular on the site of a system for automatically forming packaging boxes, said corrugated cardboard having at least one corrugated layer (10) between two flat layers (12, 18). The apparatus includes a joining station (16) for attaching a second flat layer (18) to a corrugated layer (10) provided on a first flat layer (12), means for supplying said corrugated layer (10) with the first flat layer (12) attached thereto to said joining station (16) and means for supplying said second flat layer (18) to said joining station, means for removing a protective layer (28) from the corrugated layer (10) and/or the second flat layer (18), said protective layer (28) protecting an adhesive substance provided on the corrugated layer (10) or the second flat layer (18).

A heating device of a two-sided machine has a stand which has a first arcuate hot plate and a wall on which a sleeve is provided. The stand includes a cylinder unit, the piston rod of which is connected to the trailing end of the second arcuate hot plate. A second corrugated-cardboard ply and a first corrugated-cardboard ply are guided so as to run between the hot plates, whereas a third corrugated-cardboard ply is guided so as to run, above the second arcuate hot plate, through the second arcuate hot plate. The second arcuate hot plate is lowered by the cylinder unit in order to be placed in connection with the second corrugated-cardboard ply.

A method for making a dual fluted corrugated board includes providing a first single face corrugated board having a liner layer and a fluted layer attached to the liner layer and providing a second single face corrugated board having a liner layer and a fluted layer attached to the liner layer. The method also includes arranging the first single face corrugated board and the second single face corrugated board such that the fluted layers thereof face one another and attaching the first single face corrugated board to the second single face corrugated board.

A system for manufacturing a three-dimensionally deformed plate made of a wood fiber material comprises a preheating station, a wetting device, and a molding station including two rollers spaced apart for receipt of a preheated and wetted flat wood fiber material plate therebetween. The rollers respectively include an external surface including a wave-shaped profiling in the peripheral direction, wherein the respective profiling has half-waves which follow one another in the peripheral direction, and which have a different extension in the peripheral direction

The plant includes a single facer for the production of a corrugated board. Video cameras detect any gluing defects or other defects of the corrugated cardboard. An image processing unit and a central control unit provide information about the detected defects and can act on one or more operating parameters of the plant.

A corrugated-board machine for manufacturing corrugated board comprises a material-web output device for outputting a material web, a conveying device for conveying the material web along a material-web conveying path, a printing device disposed downstream of the material-web output device for producing at least one printed region on the material web, a printed-region drying arrangement disposed downstream of the printing device for drying the at least one printed region and a connecting device disposed downstream of the printed-region drying arrangement for the connection of the printed material web to at least one further material web in order to produce a printed corrugated-board web laminated on at least one side. A start of drying of the at least one printed region applied to the material web is influenceable by the printed-region drying arrangement.
